Lots can happen during play offs. Same thing happened to Wisconsin. They were tied and Maine ended up scoring the wining goal. Really great goal tending tonight. I was impressed by both of the goalies. As far as who wins the Nationals I'm going to have to root for the gophers.

Hockey1, maybe this will teach other Sioux fans a lesson then. Next time something like this happens be the better fan and instead of mocking the other team congradualate them.

I think writing a letter to the president of the UMN is actually a good idea. If we won I wouldn't have acted the way some gopher fans were acting.

I'm glad somebody started this topic. I was at the X this weekend with my friend. After the Gopher and UMD game on Saturday night we were walking down 7th street back to our hotel and we were both wearing our Sioux Jerseys. Some Gopher fans in a truck rolled down their windows and yelled we're going to kill you guys tomorrow night! Then I had an encounter with a little kid who was a gopher fan at the end of our game on Saturday night. The little kid turned around and said to me "Somebody had to loose now." and he took off running in the other direction. There was a couple of times that we were sitting and watching the game. I yelled go Jordan!!! as loud as could and some gopher fans behind me started singing "Jordan Parise's a big fat sieve, doo dah... doo dah.. " What kind of stupid cheer is that? There was another time my friend yelled Go Zach!!! and one of the gopher fans yelled Zach Parise sucks!!! How nice can they get? I have to admit though, the older gopher fans were alot nicer than the students. We ended up talking to some of them and most of them complimented on how great both of the teams played. My friend and I were wearing our green hair and I swear to god people asked us if it was still saint patrick's day three times. We also came across a bunch of nice wisconsin fans who were going to ruit for the Sioux. There were a bunch of annoying UMD fans sitting in our section and they were yelling all these stupid things. They wanted their band to play tequilla I turned around and yelled at them "Gopher rejects!" A couple of Sioux fans behind us were laughing but the UMD fans didn't get it I think. They had the dumbest looks on their faces. There was another time when they yelled "We want icecream!!! My friend and I were like wtf. I don't know who's fans are worse. UMD or UM.

This was my first time ever going to an away games. Some things I noticed were how much our cheer team sucks and we don't have a mascot. All our cheerleaders do is wave their pom poms in the air and they're not even together most of the time. It was cool watching the goopher cheerleaders and umd cheerleaders do flips and twirls. I even thought it was cool when they were lifting each other up into the air. They should teach our cheerleaders how to do that. I also liked how UMD and the UMN had a mascot. I was trying to think of what we could use as a mascot but really couldn't think of any. I would love to dress up as the mascot if we ever had one and go around to each different section getting the crowd all fired up. The Minnesota Gopher cheer is long, but I noticed how all the gopher fans really got into it. We need to get everybody going like that at the Ralph. S-I-O-U-X North Dakota, North Dakota, heyyyyyyyyyyy Sioux!!!!!!

What channel will they be on in Fargo?

I know people who work at the Ralph Engelstad Arena and they have seen the Michigan Tech hockey team come there every time they've worked. I don't know what they're doing though... if they're using the ice or using the weight room... I even know that my friend has talked to some of the Michigan Tech players and they were wondering what you do here for fun because they were bored out of their minds.

I know I'll be wearing my hat to the Final Five.

I was wondering that myself actually. It would have been funny to see one of the band members echo him back.

Here's one relating to spring. How bout when the Michigan Tech team is losing or we're fighting them hold up a sign that says "Spring is here.... love is in the air." Or however that saying goes.

Yeah, I'd have to agree. Jake Brandt really impressed me and I was beginning to loose faith in the guy. I used to be a JPar fan, but instead I'm both now. It's nice to have confidence in two very strong goalies.

I don't think they have the whole entire set for 2004. I've got only 3 packs and I'm still waiting to find the others somewhere if they have them.

I hate listening to the games on the radio.
