Hey I want to know why Duluth fans chant "We have trees" and "we want icecream?" Any of you UMD fans on this board can tell me WHY on earth would you yell something like that at a hockey game?

Anybody know if students are still going to be able to get tickets for 6 dollars a piece next weekend? Or is there going to be some package deal?

I new this kid would be a very good asset to our team when I watched the 2004 NHL draft. He had 69 Assists and 112 points with the Salmon Arm Silver Backs. He's also drafted to the New Jersey Devils, my favorite NHL team. I love watching him play on the ice. He's very good and smart with the puck, and scoring short handed goals.

Diggler, I agree. I sat in section 109 and went to every single game. A lot of times there were a ton of empty seats right next to me and in front of me. Sometimes even a whole row. That really ticked me off, cause they payed for those season tickets and half of the time they didn't even show up.

Why in the world wasn't the clock working either? This was a poorly broadcasted game. The commercials were delaying the game. The color was even bad during some of it. There was one point when the green jerseys looked purple.

At Mankato do they actual use cowbells? If so, how do they allow that?

I think it sucks that we can't have noise makers at all during the Sioux hockey games. I just bought a horn for the Final Five games and was wondering if anybody knew if you can use them there at all? Thanks.

Yeah, no kidding. I'd love to see the Ralph to like it was on Tuesday during the Canadian game. That was awesome.

I'm going to miss all the Canadians when they leave. Makes me want to move to Canada myself. I've had so much fun at the Ralph with them.

Anybody notice that their mascot looks like Buckbeak from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban? Tim Sonjin could be Draco Malfoy, maybe if his hair was more blonde.

The band isn't going to be at the Canisius series at all, or so I heard from a band member. Somebody mentioned in another thread that the Griffens sound like the house Harry Potter's from called the Gryfindor's. It'd be funny to see a sign related to Jon Durno playing quidditch or something from Harry Potter.

Actually the name of Harry Potter's house is Gryfindor (sp?). You were close though. That would be funny to see a sign that says Hey Jon Durno, why don't you go and try out for quidditch practices instead??
