How is SRO going to generate money when there are thousands of seats no one is sitting in?

Soccer is a pretty popular sport for girls I believe. I'd think its a lot bigger than women's hockey.

Hm, I actually emailed him a couple of years ago to get my dad a signed photo for Christmas(they are both Harvey guys), and he was coaching at a college in New Jersey. Got a very warm welcome into the dome about ten or so years ago while coaching Northeastern. His wikipedia page shows a two year gap in employment in 2010-2011 where I suppose he could have maybe coached some high school ball?

Don't be dumb. If UND's current/old name was the (insert anything not native here), the #RollTribe thing, which is as bad as NDSU stealing the hook 'em horns... Wouldn't exist.

They told us not to major in Business Administration when I was there unless you were going to be taking over a family business or farm. Wonder if that is his situation.

Downtown last night was very exciting. I thought it was a little over the top but that's okay. HOWEVER... Oh boy did I hear something many many times. "F the Bison" and "F the Gophers" chants. I've read many times in the past how it shows just how Jan Brady it is of NDSU fans to do Sioux Suck cheers... But UND folks are doing it too? Who would have thunk it

I wouldn't expect a Notre Dame to send more people to St Paul than UND. All I can say is what I mentioned earlier, I saw as many Irish fans at Mariucci as I saw opposing teams fans at the Ralph this year for the 5 or 6 games I made it to. I didn't say they'd do more for B1G attendance than UND by any means. I would think they will help out somewhat though at least for conference games. Hoping to make it down this year for a pilgrimage.

Duh. A school with like 8,000 undergrads is probably not filling an 80,000+ football stadium with just alums. Wouldn't compare it to Duke basketball. Notre Dame would be more comparable to the Yankees.

Saw as many or more irish fans at the game as I did opposing fans at any of the UND hockey games I made it to this year. <cue some guy saying "YEAH BECAUSE TICKETS ARE SO HARD TO GET AT THE RALPH">

I went to a ND/UMN game a couple years ago. There weren't thousands of Irish fans there or anything but there were plenty. Probably the most "national" fanbase in collegiate athletics.

If they used the Fargodome basketball configuration it would at least not look THAT stupid...but in the Alerus, yeah dumb.

State hockey in the Alerus? Why? That sounds terrible.

Did anyone say it was bad or boring? I don't watch it. None of my friends or family gets into it either so it really doesn't get brought up often. The only two I've heard of there is Virgil Hill and Mike Tyson.
