This is the thing, I am not sure what to think anymore in terms of ranking. I have a feeling that if Sam lost they would still be in the top 8. Their SOS is not good but the committee seems to have a thing for them and Jacksonville State...who also has a poor SOS.

Wouldn't we want Sam to beat UCA since Sam is rated higher? I would think a UCA loss would drop them out of the top 8. I am probably wrong so someone please chime in.

To add to my previous post, here is the strength of schedule of the current top 10. We are #5. We better get a seed.

Because we were playing terrible football to start the season. We were 0-2 going in. How did an average Weber state take USD to overtime the week prior at USD?

This is very simple for me: I will be very pissed if we go on the road to SDSU or Montana as the #9 seed. We need to host.

For me the best game I attended was the game at WYO. Before the game their fans chirped loudly at us and after the game the looks on their faces was priceless.

I hope this offseason we pick up another OL and a QB transfer with two years of eligibility left. We need better depth behind Studs in case he goes down...which is likely the way Rudolph calls plays during the middle of the season.

I agree but I am tired of hearing all of the pundits say that we avoided Montana which is why we have a solid record. This year I am all about avoiding EWU because they are impressive and that argument about us avoiding them is valid.

Good point. I have noticed that for some reason if Montana happens to be down, the general public seems to think the Big Sky is down. They just cannot accept that other teams might be better that year. Also- It is now safe to say that Montana did not play US this year.

I would guess all of them will be back in 2-3 weeks. Stockwell tried to give it a go but came out after two plays because he wasn't ready. Taj and Luke have been on the shelf for a while so I am optimistic for their return.

Great thoughts, I would only add that getting Stanley back will also be huge. He catches almost everything thrown his way but almost more importantly he is a heck of a run blocker.
