Well said CM. I was very optimistic going into the season because that is just the way I am, but I keep wondering what some of those who are calling for heads were expecting going into our first year in the Big Sky? A winning record was very attainable but if they were hoping for a league championship then they are just not grounded in reality. The defense was very poor at times but we did not have the necessary depth to compete at the top of this level. Things will get better but it won't happen over night. Keep the faith people!

This last year in both FCS and FBS I noticed quite a few freshmen and RFR in starting roles. I do not have a problem with starting freshmen, especially RFR as long as they are the better guy because that elevates the play of the older guys who could otherwise become lazy and content.

Colorado hired the San Jose State coach...he basically turned their program around. Uphill battle for him here in Colorado.

Back to the playoffs: I think NDSU will win because they are the best all around team I have seen this year; they do everything well. Maybe not the most talented in spots but talent does not always prevail.

You are right, I watched the game last week and he missed at least three wide open throws...like 10 yard outs. Should be a standard throw at this level. Hell of a runner though.
