You are not being a cynic, I fully agree with you. Just a cool idea that was worth a share.

Cool alternative to a spring game done by Arizona: http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/eye-on-college-football/25520910/watch-fan-bull-rushes-dominates-arizona-lineman-at-open-practice

Add indoor and outdoor pro lacrosse as well.

Have you ever been to Denver?
-
Absolutely, I forgot about the pro sports aspect.

During the series against DU I was talking to a DU season ticket holder and I asked him why there was a student section on Friday, but none on Saturday. He said something along the lines of: Short attention spans combined with the busy city life tends to distract the students. In other words, there is a lot to do on any given weekend. Couple that with solid snow conditions in the mountains and you will find a lot of students skiing on the weekends. It is what it is and I am happy our fans are passionate.

As a selfish fan I prefer the late game but I can get on board with this.
-
I think I will just take a couple hours of vacation this friday afternoon since the game is at 3 PM MTN. Go Sioux!

Let's hope the train is on the tracks just awaiting departure.

Why are you so negative about everything?

Big Sky Quarters: #4 ISU vs #5 UND (3/10: 4:35 Central)

Very good first half. I have also been disappointed with the announcers. They seem to be biased for every team UND plays against, both M & W. The color lady announcing the womens game against Montana couldn't even hide it. Pretty close to bush league. -
Yeah but the influx of homelessness is starting to slow back down while tax revenue continues to grow.

I am indifferent to it as well. There are still some out there that think weed is "the Devils lettuce" and that is a huge lie and I can't stand it. I don't partake any longer because I have more important things to do but I am not about to condemn 18 - 21 year old kids for trying it like most of us have in the past. Seems like Bubba is handling it properly and I am fine with that. I just don't think it should be any more serious than a minor in possession of alcohol. To answer your first question: If a police officer came up upon them smoking it they should be arrested. If I were smoking a joint in public here in Colorado I would be arrested. Just like walking down the sidewalk with an open beer.

He does have a point. I think it is more ethical to go after people for actual crimes: Vandalism, theft, assault, etc. For those who are not aware, life in Colorado has not changed much since legalization with two exception: 1) a lot of tax revenue 2) there was an influx of homeless but this will level off once other states legalize it...which is in the works.

My point is we would not need to buy 15,000 tickets for each game. We would buy the remainder of unsold tickets.
-
Also, if all of this were to happen I would buy a pair of season tickets, even though I would probably attend only one game in person.
-
Would the actual number be 15,000? Wouldn't the remainder be bought, maybe 5,000? (assuming we are averaging 10k in attendance)

Thanks Teeder!

For sure, I was thinking more 60's and 70's could go. I have a hair band pandora channel specifically for Fridays!

Remember that time naysayers said the ceiling in the HPC was too low? https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CctTcGfUMAEGTpg.jpg:large

LOL yeah i think that would be a step in the right direction.

In regard to Studs- He was at an 80% completion rate for the last three games of the season. That's solid!

It was nice to hear it from these guys. They tend to only speak when they know something for certain. Fingers crossed.

This is encouraging to see (Oskie from SFI referencing Grady train coming back): There won’t be anything for spring ball but we have heard that the train is on the tracks. Just waiting to fill up with coal and it will be chugging down the track very soon. March 2, 2016 at 1:34 pm
