What I gather from alums that are close to the CU program is there is no chance they will go back to the Big 12. These people obviously do not make those decisions but over the years they seemed to be spot on with their predictions.
I guess in the past it bothered me a bit but you are 100% correct. Out here in Colorado we have Root Sports Rocky Mountain and that channel doesn't even carry the Big Sky games.
I would stay at the CanadInn that is connected to the Alerus Center. Solid restaurants and a water park for the kiddos. You an also tailgate and not have to drive anywhere.
I have to disagree with the idea of trying to not intentionally schedule spread teams. If we ever want to go deep in the playoffs we will run into spread teams and we will need to know how to handle them. To even get to the playoffs we will typically have to handle spread teams. We can't avoid it.

Ligament tears are a long process, I am rehabbing from surgery in late April and still have a long ways to go.
When I lived up in Nodak I was able to hunt ducks in the morning and then get to games by 1 PM. Just takes a little planning.
Deer hunting weekend would be the one exception since that is typically an all day affair and basically a North Dakota holiday.
