You're right about a couple of soft goals. But how many times was he hung out to dry and was then forced to make incredible saves to take this one to overtime. He didn't get any support. As I said in my earlier post, you aren't winning many games the way they played last night. I found myself asking which team had all the draft picks?

I'm hoping they'll show a little more hustle and emotion tonight. There were alot of bad/non-calls, but the Sioux were getting second place in a two man race all night and you don't win many games getting to the puck last. And the passing was pathetic - I lost count on how many times they turned the puck over in their own end. I'm pretty sure we'll see a different team tonight. And I don't share the "let's give Lammy a try" sentiment. If it were not for Parise, they would have lost 10-2.

Bochenski was rotting away in Ottawa so any change will be good. He's a force in the AHL, but when he got hurt Eaves came in to replace him and never gave the spot back. I was hoping that he would be traded so that he can play in the bigs again. I wish Lee Goren would get another chance. Vancouver has crapped all over him...

I think that they'll try to seed a couple of WCHA teams in the same region so that the All WCHA Final does not happen again this year... I think it really grated on the EZHA to not be represented last year. Not many of their fans showed up in Columbus.

The weekend was disasterous because at this time of the year they have to beat teams like SCSU, no matter what... But all was not lost. I did manage to score Chris Porter's game worn jersey on Saturday night...

Parise just made the winning shootout goal against the islanders...Congrats Zach... UND was well represented in that game with Parise doing the first period spot and Hale doing the second period spot... Parise was on fire in the first...player of the game no doubt...yes he was...just announced... Also, very nice interview afterward...he's very mature, self-assured and humble...just a young, exciting player and good role model...

I was a partner in a large firm. New starts fresh out of UND make more than $30,000 a year, and most of them are not yet CPA's. They are kidding themselves if they think a decent candidate will take $30,000 and not continue to look until they find a better deal...there's nothing worse than alot of turnover in the accounting department when it comes to the quality of management information...

My daughter and I were in the cities last night and were forced to catch a portion of the 1st period on 950AM...we both agreed that Sonmer needed a box of Kleenix with all his ohhh'ing, etc. everytime the Goofs touched the puck. I've never been so happy to listen to Woog on FSN. We couldn't wait to get to our destination.

Just remember, there is nothing more irrelevant than a half-time lead...I've seen the Gophs free-fall many, many times. I've seen the Sioux make huge comebacks when they had to. All the games count since they display the character of the team. But "Never Quitting" is tells the most about character. The Sioux might get forced out of post-season play, but if they do, I hope the go down fighting. That's all. But we all know it's not over. Technically, the Sioux could start out in the WCHA tourney as the 10th seed and as long as they never lose another game, they could end up winning it all. They have the talent, we've seen the coaching come through before. We'll soon see whether these guys can dig down, put it together and make a run. If not, they better go down fighting...
