Sometimes its hard to be optimistic. However, when the glass is empty I must fill it back up, hopefully with beer or Diet Coke. Life is too short to be depressed all of the time, thats why I think the article by Siouxnami really got me thinking about how good UND really has it. We are still loaded after losing all of those players. I don't think SCSU, MTU or UAA could say that after losing 5 players. I hope people like DAR will see the light and get on board. I feel a lot of possitive energy about next season already. Now, if I was a Sens fan now I would be looking at it as the glass is empty and about to be broken.

Actually if you go up a few posts I think his last post would probably qualify for being what some might call remotely negative, or at least a hint of negativity.

I think that the role of checker is a good role to have and should be looked at as a positive. I like the way Porter plays and I think he will score a few more goals in the upcoming season. Kaip might be one of the players that catches fire this season. Rylan had like no goals in two season and then potted three at the end of the season.

I think this is where I have to agree with Sicatoka. This is where I think UND has to make a stand and why not congress, I think its ironic that congress steps up when we are talking about a big school like the Illinois. I think this could pick up steam. But your right they are ducking and having it both ways.

I love it, this is actually exciting, some guy that lost already defending the NCAA is going to give advice on law suits. I think Stenehjem is right there are some things that possibly appear to be an over step by the NCAA and I can see team like the UI tennis team suing them for lost revenue...

I would be willing to bet there is going to be a few late season pick ups during the offseason. About 5 years ago the same thing happened and I think we ended going out and getting another player. I think that is how UND ended up with Mike Prpich? I could be wrong. I remember us getting a few goalies on short notice. I am not too worried.

Only thing is the voting public has short memories and will have forgotten by then. These guys know that.

The US house as stepped forward with a bill to stop the NCAA from over stepping its bounds. And wouldn't you know it Earl Pomeroy is trying to strattle the fence by saying he likes the name but doesn't want to have the US house get involved. How nice Earl show some back bone. Of course Earl has come close to losing his job so he has to play both sides of the fence. That my friends is a travesty. You are either for it or against it. Make up your mind. Thats a man pandering for votes. Native vote DNC almost exclusively, and Pomeroy doesn't want to upset the natives but still wants to be for the name. Typical Dem. YOu will not be able to count on these guys because they are pandering for votes. This is what we got for voting this way in ND. But that is for another debate. Its the reason I will never vote for the three amigos.

Good post Hiedi. I agree. Chill people, play some golf, get out and enjoy the chilly May and play some golf. I was out at Kings Walk today and the course is shaping up quite nicely. Yesterday, Gord Henry and Gene Roebuck let me play through. Life is good. Enjoy it.

Triouxper is right, unforunately this site brings a few trolls to that like to spen their time trolling. Like someone said big deal. Ussually in hockey goalies don't get a letter like an A or a C because the coaches want them to concentrate on being the goalie. I remember Karl was a Captain for a while but I think he ended up losing the letter later on in the season.

I don't think this team will miss a beat like one person said earlier have some faith in the people we have. We have only seen the tip of the ice burg with Oshie and Toews, beside I believe Toews will be a better player that Stafford in the years to come. Take the Money and run Drew we will be fine without you. I think the boys coming in are going to be pretty good too. Lets not lose faith its only may.

That might be so, but you know where this is going to end up don't you? Think really hard. You probably have one in wallet if your male. I say that tounge in check and foot in mouth,I am a big fan of Grapes too and cherish his knowledge and humor. I am just happy CBC hasn't fired him as of yet.
