All I know is that from the WJC in GF there were a lot of pylons on the ice and blame that could be distributed all over. I do remember a few Gopher d-men that were caught up ice all the time.

It appears that Carolina pulled the plug too quickly on Jack Johnson because they were trying to get him to sign and he wanted to stay in school. From reading on line it appeared that Carolina really was short defensemen and I can't for the life of me figure out why they gave up on him. Big mistake for the Cains.

I agree with that statement but I still think Elliot is head and shoulders a way better goalie, because look at what happened to Wisconsin when Brian got hurt, they were lit up a few times, either that or Connelly is really not very good. I think part of it is that Connelly isn't half as good as Elliot but Elliot is that good. I predict that Elliot will be Emery backup in a short time after his college career is over and will probably be taking his place because Emery isn't very good.

Chuck I think we are going to have to agree to disagree, but I am sure that I am not the only one that feels this way. From the Goon's opinion I think Schnieder is over-rated, that is just the Goon's HMO. Lastly, I am curious? Why would a badger fan care what a Sioux fan thinks about a Eagle player? I mean your player got the love he deserves?

I hate to say it but I agree with that statement.

No one comes even close to Elliot in my opinion as far as goalies go. Schnieder is not a first teamer, look at his play the last two season, the Sioux laid a 5 spot on him last season and a 6 spot on him the year before. Also, his play in the WJC was questionable at best.

I thought hockey players got the pick of the women at UND? Thats the way it used to be when I went to school. Wow, times have changed. That being said good thing Lammy is going to be good to go this season.

The WCHA and HE used to have a lot of play against each other, I believe it was during the late 1980's and early 1990's.

So this what we are looking at UND from 1996 to present, or the past seasons we have 30 more wins than the Goofs? Well, that is very interesting. On top of that Michigan feasts on a weaker league so I am not all that concerned about that small margin of 7 less wins.
