Seems as if the MTU hockey fans have like this fixation with UND. That's what I took from it. Big deal you won a game. The blog article that caught me was the whinning about the officials. Lastly, what is it with phil and the fans around the league. Seems he is well liked.

I hate to put a lot of pressure on these kids just yet, but I wouldn't mind them being higher than third this season so they don't have to worry if they are going to make the NCAA title and have to win every game and play unders such pressure. I would like to go into the playoffs and know they are already in the big dance.

You can split hairs all you want but UND still finished the year third nationally while the Gophers ended up not in the Frozen Four and what 5th overall or whatever the NCAA says they finished. Heck SCSU would have put a banner up for finishing third.

Far be it from me to cloud the issue with facts but it seems from the poll over on the news page that there are many people that aren't very happy with the settlement so maybe the ones plugging it are the ones that are in the minority. Just a thought.

I have personally met Jeff Dubay and had the opportunity to converse with him and Dubers is pretty good guy. Come one folks its a sport. Dubay does know what he is talking about. I especially like his football knowledge and get a kick out of him on Vikings live after the games.
