Tribal Governments change so fast. Why not ask the Tribal Elders what they think about the UND name? Weren't they the ones that game UND the right to use the name?

I want to see the Sioux crash the net hard, take the puck to the net, hell if Radke is going to be out there taking penalties give him a job to do, put him in the goalies kitchen. Make it not fun to play the Sioux, time to show the MTU fans they are full of hot air and our team is not over-rated. I would love to see Finley pound someone tonight, wait a minute (check that ) Wait till next week so I can see it live.

So If I am not mistaken didn't Central Michigan only get one tribe to support them and had a bunch of Chippewa tribes that did not support the use of the name, If I am not mistaken I thought I read that in the court brief. It seems that in this case we still end up with UND having the goal post pushed back on us. I still think this settlement is a load of crap we have won nothing execpt time to face what is eventually going to happen, it will be the same result that we are facing today. There will be diolog there will be a bunch of offers and smoozing but the name will change. If anyone thinks otherwise I would love to have a friendly wager with them, I would be willing to bet anyone the result will be nothing but that result of a new nick name. I am woundering if this settlement UND was the best that UND was going to get. I can't believe our lawyers allowed the NCAA still to have/get the upper hand and look as if the NCAA was dictating the terms of this settlement, wow, they pulled back their statement that UND was not hostile and abusive, in the end that a$$ brand still got what he wanted. By the way; the NCAA is the defendant are they not? It's like punishing the victim in my opinion. I think what what Ira Murphy has said is good and I would like to see UND take this mind set: I like this approach and I hope we go that route. Here is a thought once the anti-name change people will have their prize the changing of the Fighting Sioux name what is this vocal minority going to bitch about next? I mean will they be happy? Will this be enough, will have gotten what they want?

When I was in Vegas I heard that the IP is on its way out. Yep, your right they do bet on NCAA hockey but I think it isn't till the NCAA playoffs.

Just for the record. B.C. scored the same number of goals as we did 0, the goalie for NE is know to be pretty good and if I remember right we were recruiting him to go to UND so I don't think of it as being negative. MTU is a defensive team that plays the hard trap. The goalie had a good game. I think if we go two more weeks and don't score any goals then I will be worried. I would rather see Forney then Radke but we aren't the coaches. Seems like we have been here before.

There was actually a hockey game last night as well...

That is the second game this week the Habs have lit up a divison foe, they bombed the bruins the other night and the canes tonight.

Some people need to pick it up. Oshie and Duncan come to mind.

2 goals on 12 shots I believe the one was an empty net goal. It sounded like the one goal was a fluke. Funny thing is the MTU goalie stops those shots. I think UND needs to get mean and nasty, and I would even suggest going really hard to the net all the time. It sounded as if UND got a lot of shots on goal last but it also sounded like a lot of the shots were from the out side.

One thing that I was woundering was is UND ever going to get a vote from the full NCAA executive council?

Isn't this what they wanted? They basically got what they want with out any fight. Basically I don't think this guy wants it coming back to him so people will look at him and say see look what you did. It will be interesting to see what kind of stuff comes up in the future.

I want to see a full 60 minute effort every night, not good effort in spurts. Getting a lot of logo killer shots is not going win games. I think some of these kids have been reading their press clippings again this season, yeah we know you gusy are good. Time to play some hockey, PCM is right, where the hell are Oshie and Duncan, time to show up and play some hockey. I am sick and tired of everyone saying oh, how awesome MTU is, they are an average to decent team that doesn't 2/3 of the talent we have. Time to get some points tomorrow night getting swept is not acceptable.

That being said he will not be getting my vote, because if you think about it his office lead the lawsuit and this is the best that we can come up with. I would have rather we lost in court than give in like this. Why spend 900,000.00 if your going to do this. That is crappy leadership in my opinion.

If you are not happy with your leader(s) vote them out of office, Its called representative democracy(sp) I am no longer voting for this AG, he has done nothing that deserves my vote again. I think there will probably be a few more that feel the same way as I do. I will make sure that I get the word out.
