Its the left wing lock, lining up on the blue line, it's hockey version of the full court press, playing a very defensive scheme. Boring hockey see the Old New Jersey Devils, Wisconsin Badgers and Denver Pioneers. Craig Dahl's teams were famous for it, they would hook and hold up and down the ice. It is harder to get away with playing it in the NHL because the refs call the game so close. Sometimes teams will play it because they aren't as talented and they have to slow the opposition down. Godawful hockey to watch. For the most part the Sioux play the run and gun but I have seen them play the trap in the playoffs or when they are sitting on a lead.

I think that probably attributes to his no having many points yet. I am thinking he would look good with Zajac and Miller, could be a lot of speed there...

I must have missed the question but I think he has been invisible so far but he is only just a freshman. I have been impressed with Frattin.

While everyone is calling this a fight in essence it really isn't. Its a roughing scrum. Technically it's hard to beat someone up when you have two guys laying on you.

That is what I think it funny also no mention during the game how Oshie got assaulted after he scored his goal. That was total class. I guess the league forgot to read the memo that Turris can't be hit. I also think they were a little premature in anointing him as the Rookie of the year.

I use the old logic that opinions are like @$$ ____s everyone has one and they all stink. I could care less if people don't like Sioux fans or they think we are unvarnished, or Halo's Big f'n deal. What; was UND not allowed to win in Madison, how dare the Sioux win or shadow their star player, the one thug Kluberkanz (sp who cares) was hacking Oshie all weekend long. The fact that that the Sioux won may actually finally break the Sioux of the funk they have been in when they play in Madtown, it was a character win. Funny how when the badgers start playing tough hard nosed competition and the annointed ROY in the WCHA Turris isn't lighting the lamp at an assine rate. Maybe UND needs a few patsies to pad their stats as well...
