Why? Walksi is in essence a third string. Eidness is higly reguarded but never played a game in the NCAA. I don't know why they wouldn't bring one in? Besides Walski is a senior as well...

I think the suspension are going to catch up with C.C. and DU is a good team but they are also very young. I don't think there is a big a drop off in this league as some are suggesting. Nothing is a given.

Not to mention you already have like two very solid goaltenders in Jase and Dunn. I liked what I saw with Dunn this past weekend.

The rest can be a total mess and you can still read it with out a problem. This is because the human mind does read every letter by itself, but the word as a whole. Amazing huh? When I was in football they used to tell Linebacks don't let people run into the kitchen (between the hashes) without getting hit. In hockey that Kitchen is in front of the net in the crease. If you don't want to get hit don't go into the kitchen.

Ness is an awesome recruit but he isn't very big. I saw him play against Central and NESS could fly with the puck.

Slap shot I actually respectfully disagree, I think in the NHL the Refs don't call the CFB very often or not as often as in college. I can remember many nights saying damn that was checking from behind penalty. Also, in the NHL if you do the things to goalies that are done in college people would be getting ass kicked. I have seen a lot of fights and scrums around the net in the NHL.

I don't think I would argue against that post at all. Berry leaving hurt a lot and UND hasn't been the same since. Hakstol was a defenseman so I expect him to know the system.

Well I hope they can pick it up a bit and finish near the top. I think the style of play UND uses might faciliate some of this. The Fire wagon or race horse hockey brand of hockey UND plays mean that they aren't always focusing on Defense, I can remember numerous odd man rushes this season.

I don't get where people say that Jones isn't a good defenseman, I think he plays smart with the puck and is mean and nasty infront of the net. I don't remember him making a lot of mistakes this season.
