Having spent many hours working at the GFK airport I can tell you that flying into grand forks is not very user friendly. Also, it makes sense and I am sure the 140 mile trip from Winnipeg to Grand Forks, ND won't be that though on the Cornell Athletes. I can guess it would be better than the 13 hour bus trip to Michigan Tech.

I think the way to fix the problem is simple. Most of the stuff that is happening on the ice fundamentals. A pass missed here an open net missed there. I want to see the coach get excited and show some emotion because frankly Hak is boring me to death. I want a coach that yells and gets upset and isn't afraid to say his players sucked during the game. If a top player is not playing well bench his ass. There is too much coddling of the players go on here. Back when Blais was the coach if a player misses an assignment they sit a shift. If a player misses a couple of plays they sat a few more shifts. Heck he sat Jason Blake for not playing well. I remember the Blais saying if a player does live up to expectation they sit next to the coach on the bench or they don't dress.

I think the Ralph has to be De-Bunninged. I think if any thing that guy really put a damper on the atmosphere it hasn't been the same since he was here. I like the fact that they now have skating cheer leaders again.

If I am not mistaken the Sioux can only practice so long, I think there is an actual limit, I know when I played football they had certain limits on the amount of time a team can actually practice.

I wish there was more of a focus on offense I swear I am watching the college version of the Wild the last 2 1/2 seasons.

No one cheers in our section except our row and when our friends at the end stand up to cheer the guy and gal behind him tell them to sit down.

Next weekend is when the team will need the noise the most and the Ralph will be like a Mausoleum.

Anyone want to lay odds on that one happening? NJ trading away a reliable budding young star that isn't hurt and plays most of his games to a over paid prima donna that is often hurt and disappears during the playoffs.

If you want to empty out some of the casual fans just say free beer in the bars at ends of the arena.

For what it is worth UND has played the 10th hardest schedule in the country as opposed to say a Air Force which is 30th. Cornell's is number one but I think the numbers are out of wack right now.

We could discuss what the problem is but some would get upset. Its the casual fans that don't want to get involved in the game that sit on their cell phones talking or texting and not paying attention to the game, leaving their seat during play and other distractions.

I wouldn't say I am ripping them I just don't like defeatism and by trade I tend to be a moderately positive person. I mean if UND sucks this season I will still get season tickets next seaosn and I will still go to all of the games. I hate losing, it sucks. I hate losing in Golf (which I suck at). I hate not shooting as many ducks or Pheasants as someone else but I don't let it ruin me. That being said I put the effort of this team so far this season on the coach. It's his job to have them prepared and they are not mentally prepared, there are physically. Most of the crap they have done this season is pretty easy to fix, Its fundamentals.

Just for the record C.C. lost to UAA as well.

I didn't guarantee a win but I am saying UND isn't as bad as some have stated. I don't think the Sioux are going to cower in fear of the Big Red and last time I checked this Cornell the same team that is in the EZAC they aren't world beaters. I expect UND to play competatively and win. I am not about to concede defeat before the boys even play. Also, just for the record I have all of my hair but that statement does make me laugh. You will also see that I am not happy but I am not going to be a pissy pants, my wife and co-workers would kill me.

I heard a person on Fox news say the Government should just give every tax payer in the USA 100.00.00, apprently the 700 billion bail out translates to about 147,000.00 for each family.
