Could you imagine Joe Q Public walking up to big Joe Finley and saying something vile to him. It's just socially unacceptable. As it should be on a blog or message board, my rule if you can't say it to their face it probably isn't acceptable to say it. words have consequences. I also found out through emails from many people, some of which are family members that many people read Sioux sports and the various hockey fan blogs to include mine.

Has anyone noticed that the CCHA has had a lot of players sign this season? Also it appears that H.E. isn't going to be immune this year when it comes to early defections.

I have a rule if you can't say something to their face why post in on message board or blog? You can give constructive criticism but some of this stuff is down right hateful and mean.

That was a really a nice piece, you should see some of the vile comments some of the finley haters wrote on my blog after the Sioux lost to UNH. I think some forget that Hockey is a team game and loses are a result of all the team mates making mistakes and not just one.

I was watching the game at work and someone on the message board posted the alternative channel of 211 so I was able to watch a good part of the game. I think it is a little harsh to call a whole fan base whiners since if the shoe was on the other foot and it was the BU or Michigan fans would he call them a bunch of whiners as well?

I dunno I didn't write or call ESPN. Not every UND fan I know is a Whiner, most of the people that Know that cheer for UND are pretty down to earth and take things in stride.. I personally thought it was kind of a stupid thing to say since they advertised a Hockey game and ended up cheating thousands of hockey fans not just in ND or NH that wanted to see a NCAA hockey game and got some elitist lax match. I don't know what fans you're hanging out with. But the Sioux fans I know aren't like that.
