It will probably give the Sioux a stable of recruits to pick from, and they will have all kinds of recruits coming and going through REA. I think it's a great idea.

I actually enjoyed the blood bath between Pitt and PHilly. I bet the NHL is hoping that Boston and the Philly don't end up playing in the playoffs.

That's because you have no skin in the game... That's because you never spent a day in the classroom at UND, you don't feel any connection to UND other than sports. UND will be UND no matter what name they call it. Thank God it won't be Flicker Tail either.

That is a question that will probably be answered in the futures. I could see the talent coming from all over the place I would imagine.

It would benefit the Sioux a lot and I am definitely for it and I think it's an awesome idea.

I would imagine so... I can just imagine the screaming other schools would do, claiming UND has an unfair advantage with a AAA Midget team in their back yard to recruit from. But also they would have exposure with other teams coming into the REA as well.

We don't know if the NCAA is also pressuring the BSC behind the scenes, I wouldn't put it past them.

no dumb *$$ I understand that UND will be hurt if it keeps the name, I love the Fighting Sioux nickname but I don't want the school to suffer. That's hardly hypocritical.

I love the idea of a having a AAA Midget team in town and I can't wait to see them play. I think high school hockey in North Dakota has really fallen off and this season's North Dakota High School Hockey tourney was some of the worst High School hockey I have seen in a long time. I don't know if it's because the ND teams are losing the best talent in the state to the Jr Ranks or not?

That was a hatchet job. I think this Midget team could be a good recruiting tool for UND hockey and a good way to recruit players.

Actually, according to the UND compliance office, apparently it's illegal to tweet recruits about where they want to go? Someone already inquired about this earlier this week and I saw the email about this.
