Ah yes Stu Bickel, a waste of skin that's only redeeming quality is that he will fight... Notice when the playoffs rolled around Bickel was either on the bench or in the stands because he was a defensive liability. "Good" players can fight and play.

Just to add to that, I don't think UND is a slow team either... I have watched every home game this team has played in this year and this team is fast and very skilled. The reason they might not have the lines solidified is there have been a few things that have come up along the way prevented them from doing that. First Michael Parks was hurt, Grimaldi was at the WJC, They got Michael Parks back, Mitch MacMillian was finally able to play with the team. I think they coach would like to see what combinations work the best right now before he solidify's the lines for the stretch run. UND has also lost one game since December first. UND is 8-1-1 during that stretch.

The Gophers players won't drop the gloves.

I don't see UND players mailing it in or getting hurt by team that has a propensity to yap and hide behind the officials and shy away from the physical part of the game.

Heck! Why even go then? Maybe UND should mail the points to the Gophers? I agree with Sioux Force 19 Have some faith in your team...

I have seen worse calls, go uncalled or only given two invovling UND this season.

I have seen a lot of Gopher fans on Twitter that thought it was a weak five minute call as well.

He was so dazed and shaken up that he was able to quickly recover to get back on the ice for the game tying and game winning goal. Swing and a miss... Low hanging fruit there...

In last night's game UND and C.C. both had five minute majors and neither team scored... I think the loss of Drake Cagguila screwed up UND's rhythm.
