I-29 is currently open, but I can't imagine it's a lot of fun driving on it right now.

No, Goon, attacking the Red Pepper is a flagrant act of domestic terrorism.
Oh... I see where you're going with this.

Highly unacceptable.

Or Fargo media wants more clicks (and ego boost).
I think Dom is a bit of a fan boy sometimes. They should give him pompoms in the announcers both. I actually miss KVLY's team for football. I was listening to their Football broadcast and I had to turn down the volume.

That might be, but there's no other option.

Dom is delusional. NDSU has huge budget cuts. Not going anywhere.
I am not sure why some think that NDSU needs to go FBS in Football?

Yes, plus Craig McTavish. So apparently you can not only play, but coach.
I remember people talking about that when I lived in Mass during the 1980's. Vehicular Homicide isn't a small incident, it's very serious. Yet, he was allowed to come back and play after serving his consequence.
QuoteMacTavish missed the 1984–85 season after being convicted of vehicular homicide, having struck and killed a young woman while he was driving under the influence of alcohol.

Berry needs to get this guy. Need to add high end offensive talent to next years class.
The Rink Live has him going to UMASS and so does Elite Hockey Prospects.

That is what I was reading. However, in today's news....I have read that he hasn't apologized...that he apologized over Instagram....that he apologized over Snapchat. All of those are supposed quotes from the victim's mother. Her story has changed a couple of times with different news organizations which makes me wonder what the whole truth is.
I caught that too. I don't know what to make of this story. Yes, he did some really bad things as kid, and that doesn't excuse this. I am not sure that he will be able to move on from this. I think that he's going to have to apologize and look sincere and contrite and to date, he hasn't done that. This Twitter thread covers these things. I know that the Boston Bruins are taking a lot of heat for signing him.
QuoteIt should be noted, too, that Miller's agent is Eustace King. King, an African-American and former college hockey player at Miami, is a member of the NHL’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee. King has thought enough of him to take him on, take him under his wing, and advocate for places to play.

Agree. At some point, he needs to be allowed to move on with his life. I wonder if the victim's mom will push for a lifetime ban?
I've read a few articles on this subject and apparently, he hasn't apologized to the victim. Or did it over Instagram.

I am not sure why they're reviewing this; he was in the Endzone before his knees hit the ground.

UND needs a win. Would also be nice if SDSU would grind UNI into the dirt today.

Sure…a wins a wins at the college level. And this is going to sound negative so I’ll take the heat, I’m a big boy :). But I was not impressed whatsoever by Omaha. They don’t come across as a good team at all. After looking at their schedule/record, oof. This is not a very good team. Nice MSU win I suppose.
I tweeted last night; I don't recognize many names on the Mavericks at all, except for a couple. Their goalie isn't very good, he was popping out juicy rebounds. I thought UND played well last night.

Seems to me it's 19 healthy skaters.
And three goalies. 22 players on the trip.

I agree that the losses so far aren't the problem, it's the way we have lost and lack of offensive chances in those games that have been problematic. I'm ok with not getting a sweep this weekend, although that would be terrific and a great way to get out of the slump. Give me a split where we play well enough in both games to potentially win and I'll be happy as a clam. As long as we are continually improving and in both ends of the ice, this team has upside. Methinks Deridder starts. Deridder has been to good to not play so until he plays himself out of the net, it's all him. Not that this matters now but the last time Hellsten started in Omaha he delivered a big pizza to an UNO forward that ended up in our net and led the way to a Saturday win in Omaha. That game was a bummer because is resulted in us having to share the Penrose with Denver instead of winning outright and knocked us down to 2nd seed for playoffs.
From my seat, I would say DeRidder starts, he’s been really good and Hellsten really hasn’t.

This is a pretty good podcast. I think you find that the players are reading the things people post about them online on Sioux Sports and Twitter. You can hear it about the 40 minutes mark IRC.

I don't know if that is a bad thing, especially if he plays with someone that likes to pinch a lot.

We hear all about culture from Berry all the time. No doubt culture/traditional over the years is one of the best in college. However, let's look at what has happened since the end of last year. The reward for a third consecutive conference championship: 2) Calder told come back at a reduced role, three weeks after the season ended, or transfer. We still need forwards to puck in net.... 4) Portz, kid plays in all 39 games last year, starts this year on outside looking in. 5) Albrecht similar scenario, he ends last part of last season as one of our best forwards down stretch.
First, none of us are in the UND locker room; maybe, just maybe, said player wasn't a good fit for the program? Maybe he wasn't a good teammate. Maybe there were other issues that came up. It's easy to sit and speculate from the sidelines. We all do it. The coaching staff has already stated this fall that the team is loaded with talent and there are going to be tough lineup decisions to make. I am glad I am not making these decisions. What you did last week, isn't always a guarantee to playing next week, especially if you have a bad week in practice. I do know the team is working hard. Yesterday, when I went to the press conference, there were still players out on the ice practicing after the official practice was over.
