It is just an established fact that a rested team has a huge advantage over a team on the back end of a back-to-back. Thanks to UMD's unearned bye the previous day, they were fresher. That's not coaching, that's incredible good fortune.
I think there was something to that. UMD got very lucky not having to play Michigan. I think that was a big factor.

Which includes 1 NCAA win and ZERO Frozen Fours.
Sometimes your team doesn't always win. UND lost two 50-50 games (ND and UMD) both of those games could've gone either way. Also, you're going to have a hard time convincing anyone except a small fraction of the fanbase that Brad Berry needs to be shown the door. He's got three more years left on a four-year deal. What is the measuring stick that he's being judged by?

I have a question for the UND fans (I don't care about the other fan bases who troll or are reading this message board): you guys want to fire a coach that has a 72-25-6 72.8 % winning percentage over the past three seasons? His team also won back-to-back-to-back NCHC Penrose Cups.

Take this fwiw as I’m no pro but Goon your picture taking skills have taken leaps and bounds from when you started, these are solid
Thanks, you can see the rest of my photos here. I was telling a friend of mine, I take 100's of pictures to get 20-30 decent shots.
I was in Medora with my camera in June, I realized I'd never taken a picture of anything other than hockey or football, so, I had to send Russ Hons a Facebook DM to ask him out to take a photo outdoors.

Wild place Tyson Jost on waivers
QuoteJost, 24, has three assists in 12 games with the Wild this season. A first-round pick (10th overall) by the Colorado Avalanche at the 2016 NHL Draft, he was traded to the Wild on March 15 in exchange for forward Nico Sturm. Internationally, he has represented Canada on multiple occasions, winning silver medals at the 2017 World Juniors and 2019 World Championships. In 354 career NHL games, the St. Albert, Alta., product has 47 goals and 112 points split between the Avalanche and Wild.

Anything less than a sweep and six points is unacceptable.
I think UND needs to sweep to get their season moving forward. Prediction: Sweep.

We have had a tough schedule. .500 would have been like it against those opponents. Preseason expectations had me thinking even better than .500. It is what it is though.
It has been a tough schedule. For sure.

Who is owner of this boutique hotel?
QuoteThe Grand Forks Committee of the Whole is set to review on Monday a tax increment financing “pre-application” from Edgewood Development Group LLC, which hopes to add to an existing downtown building. The proposal calls for a 104,000-square-foot addition to the existing 60,000-square-foot building at 322 DeMers. City staff recommend that the committee invite the developer to submit a full application.

Insider NDSU intel is that Luepke going for 2nd opinion and most likely done for the year. Gonna heal up for upcoming draft.
From what I heard; he was in a sling after getting hurt. That's a big loss for NDSU, the guy is a load.

Looks like Miller is going to get a nice paycheck.
QuotePer Larry Brooks of the New York Post, the Boston Bruins will indeed keep controversial defenseman Mitchell Miller under an AHL contract and buy him out after this season. Per Brooks:
‘Miller will be paid for the remainder of the season on his AHL rate of $82,500. Following the season, the Bruins can buy him out of the remaining two years of the contract at one-third of the $775,000 per at his NHL pay scale. That would equate to a buyout sum of $516,615 … plus the total in guaranteed bonuses that amounts to $285,000.’

Bold Prediction alert. If UND scored more points than NDSU on Saturday, they are going to win.
Perfect Post.

At some point, UND is going to beat the Hairy Cows. This would be a great weekend to start. They have to keep things simple.
They can do this.

Quit making excuses for NDSU. It’s not a rivalry if your opposing fanbase doesn’t even care enough to attend, or at least try to buy a ticket the moment they go on sale.
saying the rivalry is dead is like saying the Vikings will never win a super bowl……
It might be the same things as the UNO vs. UND in hockey scenario. The Omaha fans think that UND is their biggest rivalry, but I doubt the UND fans and players would think that UNO is a top rival.

Yes he won a title in 2016 but with Hak's kids which included a first-round pick.
You do realize that Berry helped recruit most of those kids, right?

Brad’s article mentioned it, but Kleven was injured in the 1st and didn’t return. Guessing that means there’s a good chance he doesn’t play tonight.
This team sure has dealt with it’s fair share of injuries over the last few years.Berry said that he'd be evaluated this morning. They didn't know the extent of his injury.
