Simon Fraser to NCHC to help with recruiting and getting games on TSN?

Either way, it seems like the wheels for D1 hockey are in motion...

Here's my question; if we have teams complaining about travel (I am pointing the finger in Miami's direction, they were grumbling about adding ASU) what makes anyone think they will be for adding Simon Frazier?

They made it sound like we are bringing in a bunch of scrubs. Pehrson, Pyke and Zmolek would be in top 2 pairings across the NCHC. Bubs and company focused on responsibile d-men because they realize what we have up front and also what we have coming in the pipeline.

They lost me at Huskies Warming House Podcast. Feldy gave us a pretty good rundown on Zmolek during the UND hockey Podcast, earlier this year after he was signed with UND. I don't recall what podcast it was, but he gave us a pretty good scouting report on what to expect with him.

What am I missing that makes this a racist organization that requires a specific religious affiliation?

I guess I am confused, too. Last time I checked most from Hati aren't white. I am not getting the hate for Wentz. North Dakota kid players for the Bison, then goes on to play in the NFL. Makes a few TV commercials for Scheels. To me he seems like a decent kid.

After visiting on a mission trip in the spring of 2017, Carson felt a calling for the AO1 Foundation to establish a footprint in Haiti. He saw the great work Mission of Hope had already been doing in the country, and together they began “A partnership to bring hope to a nation through sport” by building the Haiti Sports Complex.

Construction of the Haiti Sports Complex began in December 2017, and the project was divided into two phases. The first phase, completed in August 2019, included an 18,000 sq. foot multipurpose building with two sport courts and locker rooms. (Link)

Me spitballing.....lone ranger like this incident....no big deal....

Gang violence....where there is multiple people involved...you killed "one of them"...

They will easily find where you live and visit you in the middle of the night...

Yeah, correct. Look what happened to the officer Darren Wilson in St. Louis after his use of force that ended up killing Michael Brown, he  had to go into hiding because of threats against his life.

(CNN) — Darren Wilson has lived in the shadows for nearly four months, changing residence from house to house, spending spare time in dark movie theaters, in hopes he won’t be spotted.

But he has not sneaked around alone. He has had protectors.

Fellow officers have been by his side day and night, as deadly threats have driven the former Ferguson police officer into hiding, after he shot unarmed teen Michael Brown in August.

“Fraternal Order of Police members from the surrounding area volunteered and have provided him with security from that time, right up until the present,” FOP spokesman Jim Pasco told CNN.

They had to, because Ferguson police were either “unwilling or unable” to protect Wilson, Pasco alleged. It was the department’s duty, he said. “That’s what the police department’s supposed to do.”

I disagree with it but I'm not in charge of it.

I don't like it either, puts the officer in danger.

Back in the 90's a bar in north Austin had nickle beers every Thursday.  Was a !@#$ show.

You could get bombed for a buck. Really bombed for two bucks. :)  I remember $1.50 pitchers at Down Under. I stumbled home a few times. I lived at the 42nd street Apartments and it was very convenient. Cheap, questionable beer. The good ole days.

Music of the Renaissance 675 conflicted with Art Appreciation.

I took an appreciation of art class at BSU, and I had to work very hard to get a C. I was only taking that class, because I was interested in a woman that was in the class.

Thought that was highly bizarre also.

Normally, I don’t think you would do that pending an investigation. Also, you’re putting that officer’s personal safety in danger.

  9. From what I’ve been told there has been no discussion about adding St Thomas to the NCHC. I be surprised if that comes up in the future. Sounds like the leagues is content with remaining at nine teams.

    Draper isn't wrong.

When the Red Wings drafted James, director of amateur scouting Kris Draper joked that he was glad James was going to North Dakota because there was not much to do there. He would have plenty of time to concentrate on hockey. James said Draper was correct. But he recently bought a guitar because he wants to learn how to play.

If anyone wants some hysterical laughs, search out some interviews with Mike Commodore where he gives his VERY honest thoughts of Babcock! Hilarious stuff. Commodore does not mince words.

Commie and Babcock didn’t get along when he was with Detroit.
