I am not sure how big schools being good in hockey is good for hockey? This season, there wasn't any big schools int he Frozen Four, yet it survived without any of the big schools. Until OSU makes a commitment to anything other than Football and basketball they will continue to be a second rung school. Just for the record, they already had a good coach and they let him go.
Did you want me to write slower for you? Opps, I just went back and read my post. I want one of each, one Hoggsbreath Hat and one Sioux Sports Hat, both black and both with the Goon Moniker on it. Maybe I was confused as well.
Which is a good thing, because frankly, I wouldn't walk across the street to watch Wisconsin play hockey... I hate the trap, but I saw it some this year..
Both teams played a very up tempo and physical get on top of the opposition and in the shooting lanes. Both teams were very hard to play against, this is one thing that Hakstol talks about his teams doing. True QU had more of the bit hits. But I think I also think that was amplified by the fact that SCSU doesn't play that style very well. One thing I do like about the ECAC, is that they still play the physical game, emphasis on still. I am sick and tired of the refs in hockey punishing the legal big hits.
