I write for the Hockey Wilderness, it's going to be hard, I can't stand Cooke, I will never make any excuses for that guy... I despise him. I don't care if he's changed his game, he's a dirty players based on his body of work, over the years, his antics are inexcusable. do we just forget all of his bush league play over the years?

One thing no one has touched on here is, Europe is an amazing place to work. I spent 26 months in Germany. Those were some of the best days of my life. Maybe some just want a chance to work in Europe and travel with their family, once your there you can move around pretty easily and for little money as most know, a trip by air to Europe is very expensive. I have heard people say that playing hockey in Europe is a fun experience.

Fixed my post... Brad touched on this in a chat recently... The guts of this are in a recent chat... If I had the time to look it up I would, but I am currently busy.

Well, we really won’t know what games will be on until there is a television schedule released. The BU games is in Boston this season, so I guess we can hope that NESN picks that game up. I would imagine that BU will have a webcast for pay that we can purchase. Last year, I called CBSSN and asked about programming and if they were going to add another channel on DirecTV like the BTN and the guy I talked to basically said that the conference is driving that decision and to ask them. The NCHC is the ones that decided we can’t have our own TV deal. As far as the home Hockey games not being on DirecTV, as of right now, there will be “no" UND Hockey games shown outside of the regional area unless the games are on CBSN… As of right now, you will have to use the webcasts if you want to watch the games. Now, here’s what we “could” do, we could flood the MidcoSportsnet.com aka Midcontinent Communications phone lines and ask them to please have them put MidcoSportsnet on DirecTV. I would even suggest that you’re willing to pay extra so you can have those games on your DirecTV programming. (605)- 274-7638
