A lot of things would hav to happen for ED to be elected to Governor, all the other Democratic candidates would have to say they don't want the job, I am sure Heidi is going to make another run. I say bring it on Eddy. I just don't see it happening. First off Ed has a lot of Baggage that would come up. The guy changes his stripes when ever it suit his purpose. Second I think he is very polerizing.

Tech and Wisconsin advancing is a nice scenario butI Just don't see how it could happen unless the Mankato and Minnesota teams had half of their players suspended.
-
There is no way hell that Wisconsin beats MSU-M. Its a nice senario, and nothing would be sweeter but it is not in the cards, Wisconsin cant even cycle the puck to get it out of their own end. How the heck are they going to beat MSU-Mankato. People are dreaming in saying that Wisconsin beats Mankato. Just my opinion. I wouldn't be surprise if Eaves isn't shown the door soon...
-
Yeah your right. Lets see there was Mankato, Denver and I believe Duluth too.
-
Brad's goal was pretty nice too, he put a great move on the goalie and burried the bisket. Bayda just set up a goal with a nice assist. UND is being well represented tonight.
-
Some Rube called into PA and Dubay today to say that Michigan Tech takes Minnesota to three games. Yikes. They must be in the paint thinner up in Houghton, Michigan...

Sounds like all star wrestlingm XFL and the NFL wrapped into one.

Since the X-mas tourney (referred to as the Cup Cake Classic by some) UND record is 6-8-4, sure sub par, but really not that bad considering the number of games on the road, in tough places. UND is still 11 in the PWR ranking so I think UND will be in the NCAA tourney if they don't go out and lose more than two games this weekends series. Bubble teams. Rk Team 9 Michigan 36 24- 9- 3 0.7083 MSU-Mankato 36 18- 8-10 0.6389 11 North Dakota 38 24- 9- 5 0.6974 12 St. Cloud State 34 16-13- 5 0.5441 Ohio State 37 22-10- 5 0.6622 14 Harvard 29 19- 8- 2 0.6897 Providence 36 19-14- 3 0.5694 16 Denver 38 20-12- 6 0.6053 Michigan State 36 21-13- 2 0.6111 Dartmouth 29 17-11- 1 0.6034 Northern Michigan 36 18-16- 2 0.5278

Coming back for a sqirt game with Hopper I said that Blaiser must have read the Siouxsports.com because we were both kind of shocked to know Marc was playing after (Dr. Hook/Mike Keenan) Blais pulled him the night before. I commend Blais for giving Marc a second chance. I think it will do wonders for a goalies confidence.
-
Believe it or not UND goals against is 4th in the league overall, middle of the road, I believe that our goals against is like maybe one or two goals behind the Dirty Gophers. That is puzzling since I remember some Gopher fans lecturing me on how much better their goaltending was.
-
I hate to lecuture anyone about spelling, yesh, however, Marc's name is Ranfranz. We don't have a player on our team with the name Renfranz... I am sure Blais will keep us guessing all week.

Sioux Fan In Boston, B's Win in overtime, whew. Thank God for NHL Center Ice. Best 100.00 bucks I ever spent. Zach would sure look good with a spoked B on his uni... Hopefully after 3-4 years.

Being a long time Bruins fan I am also very happy that the Rangers (Rags) aren't doing well. I think its funny that they continue to spend money on free agents and continue to camp out at the bottom of the standing.
-
Only bad thing is that there is a delay between the radio and the television, the radio is like 2 seconds ahead of the television broadcast. TH said UND score and the puck hadn't crossed the line yet. Yesh. But your right I can't listen to the Rubes from Wisconsin they are brutal...

To take a phrase from KFAN, thankyou Minnesota, they beat the SCCC Hussies 5-3. I almost feel dirty from saying that. MTU is laying the woods to UMD 6-2. Wow, what a night for hockey. Maine lost to UMass. So they are done in their conference tourney. Life for the Sioux is changing for the moment, they are now in 4th place in the WCHA. Way to go boys... Lets get two more points tomorrow. I think Blaiser was a little premature in yanking Marc tonight, CB reminds me of Coach Keenan of the Florida Panthers...
-
Rick or others, Does Blais go after this kid then if this is true? Should CB take a chance on him? Levitt is still pretty young and has great skills. I think there could be a place for him if CB can get him to do his part and not break team rules like curfew.
-
I think Moreland would look really good in a Sioux Jersey. I hope we get him. Kasey and Lammy would be a good rotation. Throw Lane and Ziggy into the mix the goaltending might be pretty good. Competition would be good.

Maybe Eddie the Blow Hard is a throw away candidate. Means they have no one else that wants to go against Gov. Hoven, I am not so sure the Gov. Hoven is a sure win next time but his numbers aren't too bad. Who knows. One of my buddies a legislator in the ND house and I asked him about Schultz and he said that Eddie is a non factor. No one takes him very serious.
-
I figured the Gophers would experience the same thing, fact is that some teams have to resort to those types of tactics because they can't skate with teams like UofM, C.C. and UND. I think it is a travesty. It is bad for the game. JP Parise talked about this on the radio one night between periods. JP said it was basically a disgrace. I agree.
-
Well I hate to say this but I am going to become a dirty Gopher/C.C. fan this weekend. If C.C. wins the second game tonight against D.U. Denver is at least 6th place and on the road, if the Dirty Gophers can beat SCCC twice, a tall order. UND will be in Fifth. Ok, The best course of action for UND is to have UMD split and UND win both games and they are in fourth, probably not likely... MTU blows and I am not sure they can beat UMD... I really hope UND gets a second crack at UMD and MSU, their fans have made SCCC fans look tame... I feel dirty after saying that...
-
How many goalies can UND have on its roster? Anyone know the answer to this?
-
Found this in the Saint Clown Times. Very interesting. I had heard the UND was very close to signing to this kid but lost out to the Badgers. Looks like we should be happy to know he didn't come here. Whew... Leavitt left out The on-again, off-again relationship between Wisconsin coach Mike Eaves and sophomore forward Alex Leavitt appears off again for good. Eaves told Leavitt last week that he would not play in any more games this season. Leavitt created a stir in Madison two weeks ago when he went public with accusations that Eaves was physical and used profanity in a confrontation between the two last November. Leavitt was held out of practice several days after refusing to play against St. Cloud State, and there was question as to whether he would leave the team. Eaves asked Leavitt to stay and the latter acquiesced. Now it looks like Leavitt has played his last game as a Badger and will likely leave the school at the end of the year. That hasn't stopped Wisconsin's resurgence. The Badgers squeaked out a 3-2 win Friday and then blitzed Michigan Tech 9-5 on Saturday. Wisconsin is 3-0-1 in the last four games after a 2-7-0 stretch. The latest wins came without senior captain Brad Winchester, who was arrested for allegedly striking a police officer shortly after a game against St. Cloud State on Feb. 22. Winchester was suspended two games and is due in court to answer the charges on March 11. He is expected to play this weekend against North Dakota, however.
