Pretty Boy Vanek is gone. Wow, what are we going to talk about next? I suppose we could talk about who is goalies are better UND or UofM? I am going out on a limb and saying the October 23rd and 24th Series at the Ralph is going to be exciting.

Thats just it. You have team like MSU-M, SCSU, Wisconsin, MTU, UAA and Denver to a certain degree that can't skate with teams like UND, UofM, CC so they resort to the hooking, slashing, holding... Horrible hockey to watch.

Too bad the refs separated them so early. Blake is tough as nails. I think he might actually be 5'8"

I am sick and tired of watchign Team USA play with no heart at all. This is disgusting and hard to watch. The American should be ashamed of themselves. I am hoping the NHL goes out on strike and the owners put scabs in their place. Some of these overpaid pre-madanas are worth the money they are paid. I also think it is time for Leetch, Chelios, Hull and Madano to move on and let someone else play, they are too old and too unmotivated to play. They got out worked by the Russians tonight. I think some of these guys are still reading the press releases of 1996 telling them how good they were. Keith K. has played like a moron the past two games, his stupid selfish play hurt team USA. I am disappointed (I am not even drinking). I would love to see someone take out Kasperitis too also. The man is a Goon/Thug... Kasperitis just tried to take out Blake with a cheap shot after turtling against Billy Guerin.

Now lets see if the WCHA officials will call the game at is suppose to be called. I will believe it when I see it.

First off Maffia Man nice avitar. Awesome. Second I think WPOS is a decent poster. Like most UofM poster/fans. I was just pointing out some facts about UofM goaltending.

OK Troll, lets look at the numbers a little closer, your talking about games where UofM played teams like Princton (not a great team), Michigan State (not very good last year whoopi) MTU (wow), MSU-Mankato (cellar dwellar), BSU (2) (double Wow), and last but not least SCSU... So nice try but oh well not that impressive afterall. Oh yeah UofM beat UND once last seaons and only allowed one goal. Thats after having 5, 7 and 4 hung on your great goaltending.

I like it. Actually I like how Gopher fans try to say how great of a goalie Briggs is. Fact being. Briggs will probably be floating in the Mississippi River this season if they Gophers have a rough season.

IMO I believe Parise was the go to guy. Back to Minnesota. UND is better off in goal than the Gophers, so I am not going to fret about our rotating goalies.

One of the Cops in Grand Forks that happens to be from Chicago told me one time that we should wake up every day thank our lucky stars because we live up here. No Kidding. Also the Educational system in the upper mid west is second to none. However, on a more serious note, I wonder if they have ducktober in Mississippi.

Last minute fashion, however, a win against a top 10 type team, they will probably be in the NCAA tourney come end of the season. They play some good ball in the Gulf South. I will take it over a game against MSU-Moorhead or UMC Crookston any day. Good for UND.

I wouldn't sell yourself short. A person doesn't have to be a Rhodes Scholar to get a graduate degree. Actually if you were a med student you would be wholed up studying and have no time for hockey, nor would you have time to chat on-line.

Good point lets hope that our PP doesn't go 1-24 or 1-28 to start the season like it did last season.

I suppose there will be some that said that Ziggy was cut or that he had his scholarship cut in half, which in most Gopher fans mind is about the same as being told your not welcome.
