People always assume that most of these students only commit to UND because of the arena, I think it is the icing on the cake. Or just one of the many reasons great recruits go to UND. UND is a power house in college hockey. I think more so than even UofM.

Irbe is at the twilight of his career and Karl is an up and coming star. I hope Irbe just retires after he fails to make the line up on a regular basis.

I don't honestly seeing him playing at UND either. Who is he going to play over?

I wasn't trying to attack you per say, I just think its funny that some are complaining about the FSC when they are not looking at the whole picture. Ok, we get your point. You must still be a college student, because the world is an imperfect place. People charge money to for services. Maybe you should spend less time in the liberal arts classes and more time attending classes on economonics and business. In fact my Life is full of rate increases. This season, my golf course raise their rates 50.00, the cable bill went up. So did the price of gas, but then it went back down again to a cheap 1.89. Oh crap my house mortage payments went up too I think it was 50.00 also... Its not just the FSC, its every where. I am pretty sure if are so upset that you don't want to pay for your season student tickets someone else will.

Last years team did have the gritt and I believe way more talent that the 1997 team, however, losing to Denver showed what can happen when you run into a hot goalie in a one and gone series, anyone can win. I say no way Denver could have beaten UND in a 7 game series like the NHL. Also there is no shame in losing to a hot goalie.

I would suppose they will charge money to see it. Hopefully serve beer in the vending spots.

The league will be a bust. Just like the USFL was. Different sport same idea. I would bet the farm on it if I owned one. I wouldn't be surprised if it goes broke by mid season.

Landon is still in the NHL though, and did have one decent season with Phoenix. Beter than not making it at all.

Here is the premise that burns my ass. You get people that assume the only reason Jordon got to come to UND was because he was Zach's brother or the pipe line from Shattucks. Hog wash. Anyone that saw Jordon play this past year knows that is effort this past season speaks for himself. Jordon playing in the final games of the season, also is a big statement by Blaiser, I have more confidence in you than my upper classman goalie. Personally if I was Brandt I would be a little worried. I also predict no-one goalie is going to get all of the starts, Blaiser like to split time and go with the hot hand. Ala, off of the top of my head I can think of Andy and Karl. Brandt and Sievebida, Jordoan and Brandt. Notice all played about the same number of games.

Your so full of crap, by saying that ignorant stuff. Jordan Parise was the best goalie UND had last season Bar none. If anyone is one their way out (I am not sure anyoen gets cut) it would probably be the Senior goalie.
