I think that would be an accurate statement, however, they did call the Mavs for a few of these types of penalties. UND looked pretty good on the power play tonight too. That would seem to be a positive.

I think that Ovechkin got everything that he deserved. The man is talented, however, he needs to grow up and learn some basic rules about sportmanship, the man is a pre-madonna. I also like the way the Canadians cleaned his clock up and down the ice by checking him every time Ovechkin touched the puck Or by all means act like that in the NHL. Because I bet my next paycheck that if Ovechkin acts like he did in the Ralph the past two weeks he will be getting his @$$ kicked all over the league, the NHL players will not tolerate his crap. I am also sure his coach will know about his antics and stop him long before he hits the ice.

Hey PCM, I think you might be confusing a lot of us with the fans that say F_#k the gophers, however, those clowns that chant that cheer are morons and show little if any class. I know a couple of the fans here personally that are in their thirties and wouldn't participate in such a moronic cheer.

I would say that Phil might get a work out if that is his defensemen next season. I might start calling our defensemen pylons... I honestly don't see Foyt with the team next season.

I hope we don't have to see any more antics by the Russians. Eventually they will have to cool it when they get to the NHL. I watched the Canadians the other day against Finland and they were solid. Like I mentioned earlier a scout had told me that Russians were not recieved real well when they made their exhibtion tour. Apparently there were a few elbows thrown at the offending players. I was talking to a scout today and he said the Russians did their little shhh. By the time the made it to the WHL they pretty much got it handed to them and didn't do it anymore. I heard also in the OHL one of the classless thugs did the same thing and a Candian player elbowed the classless hack to the ice. I hope Canada pounds their @$$ on tuesday.
