I thought I'd never cheer for the Bison, but it felt pretty good when Montana missed the field goal at the end. Browsing the Bisonville website, I think the Bison now see and feel what the Sioux have for so many years (for hockey). They are all excited talking about seeing the score at the bottom of ESPN and now talking about trying to get more games televised, etc.

The boys need to play with some desperation and score some goals, plain and simple.

I went to the Red River vs. Central basketball game at the Alerus Center, and I must say it is a pretty good setup for basketball. They move the bleachers from one end to the other and put a curtain up behind it. Plenty of good seating on all four sides. Perfect place to play some D1 ball.

The word on the street is that Siembida and Sofie won't be back next year, and that Siembida won't play another game. Sofie will probably get cut, and Siembida is just going to quit.

Mr. Greene needs to fight someone to solidify his toughness in the league. We all know he can talk the talk, but can he walk the walk. You gotta make the opponents fear you like Commodore did. "You wanna broken nose like the last guy?"

I'm pretty sure the Alerus will never expand, and isn't even made to expand. I've never read anything about it. Everyone always tells me size don't matter, anyways. We all know there is better atmosphere in the smaller buildings, case in point hockey.

You guys were by far the most annoying fans ever. You guys didn't shut up once during the game and that's not an understatement.

Your handle shouldn't be "Siouxrock," it should be "I'm A Rock."

Hopefully being that it's afternoon games, it doesn't hurt anything.

The reason MSU-M takes so much crap about their name is because they only call themselves MSU. I was there this weekend and didn't once see themselves referred to as minnesota state university-mankato. T-Shirts, signs, announcers. You don't see MSU-Moorehead calling themselves MSU.

I know that Parise is already making arrangements with another current sioux hockey player to move into his house for next year. I know it doesn't mean much, but all the signs right now point to he'll play again next season. Despite what Craig Dahl said about he'll be gone if he scores over 50 pts this year.

I'll be cheering for Minnesota to sweep. It'll put the Gophers that much closer to the Sioux in the standings but then we'll have a chance to control our own fate, and eventually catch CC. Otherwise CC would pull away in first, season ain't over yet.

I believe they carry WDAY in Bemidji.

The thing I find funny is that when someone doesn't like what another person is saying (from opposite team) the regulars will post, "sal we don't need this guy or "sal where are you, wink wink." Like a bunch of baby's. I have not read the post about U2Bad, but refering to another thread. U2Bad, they won't find anything else on you worth banning, they just lump all the newbie Sioux fans together and thought some of the other ungopher comments might have been made by you.

Despite what a lot of bison fans will try telling you, there is no minimum seating or attendance requirement for division 1-AA. Hence the AA part. I'm to lazy to do the research but i'm sure there are quite a few AA stadiums with less seating than the Al.
