  1. That is an amazing statement. For years, UND-NDSU Women's Basketball was a huge deal. It was on statewide broadcast television and even got the attention of Sports Illustrated. Now it is just a footnote of history. Sad.
  2. Yeah, there was a guy back in the day who was pretty good too. I believe his name was Jimmy Kleinsasser.
  3. The point is that curb stomping NDSU doesn't prove a whole lot because they are so bad.
  4. If this is the case, then NCAA basketball is on the same level as Olympic Figure Skating and/or Boxing. Ridiculous.
  5. That makes me salivate.......
  6. And in the "real world", our program needs to be able to score points and sustain drives better than we did in 2016 or we won't take the next step in the playoffs. The offense needs more athletes like this; only question is would Rudolph know how to use him to maximize his potential?
  7. I trust that you are joking.
  8. Just another reason to cheer against them in the WJC.
  9. What's next then? They'll want our players for a month before the tournament? Where do you draw the line? Nowhere?
  10. As long as they are both back in January, that is all that really matters.
  11. You mean Stream Yellow, don't you?
  12. Yes, they beat FU by 18 points. But there is a lot of season left to go.
  13. Just keep making your snide remarks while you can. Regardless of what happened last Saturday, the long-term prognosis for UND FB is looking very good.
  14. Seriously though, that would be so cool!
  15. And Bubba and his staff are working on that one 24/7/365!
  16. I agree with you, but the long-term prognosis is UP, UP, UP. Try to focus on that.
  17. Yeah, same here.
  18. It WAS God-awful hockey; according to their poster they have changed.
  19. I actually prefer playing teams like this vs. the clutch-grab-blocking-tackling teams. The action flows back and forth and is very fun to watch.
  20. Based on some of the stories I read and/or hear about, the major problem in youth sports isn't the kids, it's the parents and (sometimes) the coaches. This story doesn't surprise me in the least.
  21. I think that was the game when Ann Just hit a 3 pointer at the buzzer. It was the season before our first NCAA title.
  22. So what you are saying is that it just isn't realistic? Or feasible?
  23. I would like us to take steps in that direction. We just seem to underachieve too much.
  24. Yeah, I like your version better.
  25. Yeah, because it's all about keeping more of the gate. Building a solid mid-major program just isn't economically feasible.
