I think the fear is that UND hockey will become a good-old boys club and accessible only to certain families and/or individuals. We need to continue building the next generation of fans and the more exposure they get to the team, the better.

The truth is, a lot of collegiate and professional athletes would be best served not getting into pi$$ing matches with fans on social media. Let your play on the ice do the talking.

I am still baffled how UND lost to Michigan State AT HOME earlier this season. The Spartans are truly putrid.

That would be better than nothing. A win and a loss on the road to a solid WMU team wouldn't hurt us in the PWR much.

Big difference between driving 300 miles to Minneapolis and dropping a big wad of money on hotel and game tickets vs. getting off the couch on Saturday to watch Bubba and the boys at the Alerus Center. Why don't we just permanently abolish some academic departments and/or colleges and focus on the remaining units to make them stronger? Will it really ruin our reputation if we offer 150 majors instead of 200?

I hope you are not questioning the loyalty of fans who choose not to go to this tournament. It's more about prioritizing financial resources and leisure time than not supporting the team.

I am not going either and I never thought I would type that. I am sick of the Target Center and how this tournament is run. As long as things are run by these keystone cops, I will not waste anymore time and/or money on it.
