Just got back from the Bloomington Senser's. What a great atmosphere. That place was overrun with Sioux fans. I especially liked how 90% of the televisions were showing the Sioux-Dogs game and the Gophers game was relegated to a few sets on the side
More scores:
Notre Dame 3 - Michigan 0 in the second. Montoya hurt (suspected groin pull per post on USCHO)
CC 4 - SCSU 1
BC 4 - UNH 2
Looks like we'll see three of the top five PWR teams lose tonight.
Well, before USCHO goes down for the night, a couple of scores from out east that have a small impact on UND:
BC-UNH tied at 2
Lowell up on Maine 3-2
WOO-HOO 3-1 SIOUX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Shall I assume that since they are bringing in another dish to try to get Saturday night's game, it could only be broadcast at the Bloomington location and not Roseville?
One interesting thing that happened after the Saturday game at Mankato ended, was that at least 7 or 8 of the Sioux players skated across the rink to Adam to shake his hand. Much of the time I don't pay much attention to what happens after 0:00, is that a normal occurance? Maybe they knew who the ref was going to be in Duluth
I hate Adam as much as the next guy, but is it possible that we just need to STOP TAKING PENALTIES. I mean, knocking the net off, high stick, its not like Adam shouldn't be calling these.
Crap 2-2
Going to the Saturday game, and I apologize in advance for the tie or loss (the Sioux are 0-3-2 at regular season road games that I attend, however I am 1-0 at the Final Five, which I will be attending all 5 games of this year )
I agree. Mankato's arena is so small, that even if you get tickets in the top row, you have a great seat. However, the 100 level seats are very low and the line of sight isn't great.
