    Systems I don't think are the problem ....players making poor decisions with penalties have led to being down by 2 or more almost every night...if the "system".....needs to be the pk that is going to be tough to overcome.....

    Id say any of those people that may be grumbling at CC may have glanced over at how things have gone for DU....and found the greener side of the pasture as far as Owens is concerned. Id be shocked to see him go anywhere.

    It was frustrating to see multiple occassions last night that all 3 forwards were below the red line ("end zone" if u watched on tv) ....and after winning the battle for the puck the sioux would pop it out right in front of the net....nobody home and the dogs had an easy transition up ice 2x2 3x2 gave them lots of ice to wwork with and put the d in a more conservative roll....they had to wait for a forward to bust their ass back to help out. Lots of standing around waiting to do board battle instead of cycling through the slot for possible scoring chances. They've done it well this year at times but it's not consistent. My $0.02

    I believe that UND voted against the clause and doesn't want it and would nix it if possible but a contract is a contract. I think the first NCHC administration was inept and was scared into whatever they thought they could get once the "lure" of Notre Dame had sailed....NBCSN with it. I also think now that Mr.Fenton would very much like to renegotiate the deal. I would very much think Midco would love to be able to sell its production out to FCS..... The initial NCHC admin botched a lot of things I believe but growing pains happen and you learn from mistakes....hopefully But we still have a high school volleyball play by play guy who doesn't understand hockey from a ring toss with a job so you never know....sometimes it is all about money as opposed to what the customer base wants

    I think Cbssn does a good job on the game production for the most part but....it is a terrible terwibbahl terwibbahl deal for the NCHC and needs to be changed ASAP. Was this a 1 year or 2 yr deal...?.. Getting rid of the exclusivity clause is the key....I just am hoping that was Scheer's "sp" stupidity and lack of relevent experience that brought it about. ..and the next deal will be much better for the NCHC

    Wilbur. ...I really appreciated you posting your experience, as unfortunate as it is, here. It's a real reminder and dose of humility in thinking about the mundane unimportant cap one can get worked up about and bitch about. I mean really, so a power play didn't go perfect......it's not worth the gnashing of teeth that seems to go overboard. Thanks for the perspective. I would be willing to bet that man would be thrilled to have just one more chance to watch a game...win or lose. Or more importantly just be with family. Something to think about when a period may not go our preferred way this weekend. As hard as it is I thank you for posting ....it made a difference in a few lives this week.

    That type of player should wear a C for the goofers...he embodies everything that truly is a gopher... As far as an announcer not expecting that behavior from him is either blinded in piss colored glasses or just doesnt know $€/t about college hockey....kinda a comment id expect out of Hammer.

    There is no doubt that BC isn't playing the best defensively....I would think BC goalie would be rather disgusted with his play on those goals..... UMtc is good no question they have talent and speed but it see a classic goofier season ......dominate at home on the big rink....couple of cupcakes on the road (including the pig10) schedule...then an early out in the tourney.
