I think that they should have put the USPS logo on the helmets and the breezers and left the sweaters alone for a year or two until the switch to the Adizero sweaters. From a hockey perspective the new jerseys (they dont deserve to called sweaters) are just a bit too busy, Not a fan of the font and to cram 2 different fonts from nameplates to front will be hawkward.

That is from what i hear almost exactly the jersey for this year, It is fugly, plain, amd unimaginative. Itll be a year or so until yhe addizero jersey redesign shows up. Much can be done. Too bad, not gonna sell alot of those.

Ben Cherski has passed away..... Some very large legends of Sioux hockey have slipped away recently.... I like to imagine them skating across a perfect sheet of ice that never needs resurfacing ....firing pucks off wooden boards and chickenwire netting... scoring perpetual hat tricks on beaten gopher goalies......wool sweaters and straight bladed sticks raised in eternal celebration....

Just finished this project with my kids.... Every NHL card of every Sioux alum to ever play in the NHL.....so far. It was really fun. Have them in order of their NHL debut. There has been a Sioux player for every team in modern time except the Cleveland Barons...and Vegas Knights... About 15 players never had an "official" card with an NHL so i was able to manufactuer my own for those.

St. Louis is losing its AHL affiliate for next season. Chicago Wolves going with Vegas. St. Louis had announced they will "affiliate" and loan their players to other American league clubs. Not a good situation, i wonder if that played a role in their prispects choices this year.....and what it may hold for Jordan Schmaltz.

There was a good sit down and cheer where they talked about this system and costs which where quite high BEFORE they lost the revenue of a tenant. i don't think cutting women's helps the REA. REA would have to purchase the projection system. REA lost a customer in women's hockey. So no the "savings" to the University Athletic department would not be used to purchase the REA an on ice projection system.

Especially when they can just dive in, and swim their way to Chi town.
