I think Kristo has earned a call up, a shot at NHL ice but I don't see him sticking as a full time NHLer. Like Grimaldi he needs to find that situation where he can slot into that second line. He doesn't have 1st line talent, He lacks the 2 way play and drive it seems to gain the versatility of the other roles that 3rd and 4th lines an play....i.e. Vandeveldes, Porters, Malones of the world, in order to get a toe hold on a big club.
Europe may very well be in his future, but you never know, this Vegas thing will create jobs and openings so sticking around the American League this year should be a priority for guys like him.

Yes I've heard his work, I don't think the hockey knowledge is there at all. He sounds very much like a SCSU student run broadcaster. Basketball is a much much easier sport to call
I think there are a lot more qualified options in the area.....willing to work for what midco is willing to pay........that may cut that list down by alot!
I think Hammer was a betterPxP guy than this guy, and that's difficult to admit.
The basic knowledge of the program the history, the experience....it's just not there in any way such as guys like Hennessey, Sweeney, Looker, or almost anybody who's actually been around the program.
The insight, and experiences are what add depth and color to a broadcast, to be able to draw out and paint the experience to the fans, this guy.....very clinical and bland run of the mill, not what we should have as the voice painting the story of excellence and grandeur for the greatest college hockey program in the country.
Imho this was a budget hire plain and simple. They could do better.

BU Draft class is epic....and yes not to diss Quinn, Quinn is doing a great job, Bahhstan....is an attractive area....
but YES the Eichel effect was huge.....and will help them for years, think of our Toews effect.....still recruits are saying they learned of UND by seeing Toews had went there.

They would be wrong....just so very very wrong. It's...unbelievable. I know many Canadians, not he fastest but whatever, these Canadians; all want to play NCAA hockey, all of them. Such losers, they want to talk about our short seasons, well they may want to worry about their own short things, I don't have to worry about that, again just unbelievable. We may need another wall to keep them all out of the NCAA p, of course they'll pay everything for it. And I want a big wall not some beaver dam of colored money, I know money lots and lots of money, it should be green, and when I'm president I'll make our money green again with my face on it, it will be worth more than it says, $10 ......worth $35........$100 bill?... Easy be worth $2000. ........
Or are we not doing Trump anymore...........
