While I agree with you 100% on the protectors BS.
When I first saw this I was disgusted, as anyone with eyes, good taste, and half brain would be, who even knew what it was and what it's supposed to represent .....but then as I looked at it I realized it was so small and nondescript underwhelming that it doesn't matter. It just blends into the ice like any other nonimportant logo or advertisement that is usually out there.
It could be the west regional sponsored by USPS. Quite inconsequential.
The 4000 Sioux jerseys will play a much more prominent visual on national TV.

There should be multi game suspensions for both hits to Poolman and Johnson.

The conference does care about what the fans have to say and takes it into account. The NCHC was never going to leave the Target Center during the contract so to assume that fan's voices haven't been heard is ridiculous. Will the future site of the Frozen Faceoff be decided by the fans? Definitely not, but it will play a role in where the tournament goes.
With the final upgrades to the Target Center happening this summer, I fully expect the FF to be back at TC next year. After that it really comes down to the numbers both from a business and fan experience aspect.
That's seems quite sensible.

I heard a Story from a reliable source that he had decided to comeback as all parties felt this year as a lost year of development.
EVERYthing I believe and have read makes me doubt this......but
the guy who relayed it is very creditable and the source was very very very close to Brock
so who knows....I still think it's 95% he gone

I can see UMtc "fall on the sword"......throw the game....whatever you want to call it ....
In order to get another B1G team into the tourney ....the could get 4 in if they play play it right...I think. Instead of just the 1.
It has to be embarrassing to potentially be getting less teams in than the ACHA.
