I don't necessarily agree with your other comments regarding Bubba being capable of turnaround, but I absolutely agree with this comment. At the very least UND needs a coaching and philosophy change on offense and special teams.

Not much for innovation, huh? Funny how UND hockey always attracts the traditionalists.

No one is proud of the UND football program's current leadership and direction. It just is embarrassing that some among the fan base feel it necessary to bring up women's ice hockey, which is completely unrelated to UND football's issues.

Important to note that the lack of 4th down offense has came up multiple times throughout the season. Interesting (and quite disappointing) that it was a recurring issue all season for UND football.

This is so true. Culture (winning attitude) is based on coaching. Recruiting is based on coaching. Philosophy and scheme is based on coaching. I will post what @SiouxVolley posted earlier. Well, that is just anecdotal evidence of ignorance. That doesn't establish a trend.

So they follow successful FCS football ... that's a positive and shows the importance of having successful FCS football. How many times did they ask about women's ice hockey? We all know women's ice hockey is rarely, if ever, a point of random conversation. Now, college football is a completely different story.

This is completely untrue. "Fans outside of the state" are definitely more aware and willing to follow the most popular sport in the country (football) than lowly women's ice hockey.

I agree. The best FCS program in the country is just 80 miles south of UND. Go down there and hire up some winning culture. The current state of affairs for UND football is very poor.

Very good point. There may be something to the “no other offers” as being a consistent concern.

Forget the recruits! We truthfully can’t afford to continue to lose big games! That’s the primary concern, not a single year of recruits.

The offensive coaching philosophy needs to completely change then. As I said earlier, forget the numbers. UND plays a horrible quality of football. The team doesn’t pass the eye test. They would’ve been crushed by any worthy playoff team if they made it to the playoffs or they would’ve choked like they did in 2016.

As such, UND is bad at football. Horrible.

It is very sad that UND football isn’t at a point where having season tickets is prized. They hold no value currently given the state of the UND football program, that’s for sure.

This is pretty much the only line of questioning acceptable at this point. We will now see if Chaves is competent as AD.
