He wasn't the only one to get the leak, he was just "Jamel one the Spot" and got it out first. The rest poured in shortly thereafter, they were just a bit late to the game. I call information given to the press without being asked and not in the context of a press release or presser a leak, a that is what it was, and it did not come from NDSU.

Say what?! UND gets 125K in '15 and 140K in '19. If UND buys out a game it pays 250K or both for a mere 500K. If NDSU buys out, it pays the aforementioned money.

Actually, it should be 123 FCS and 1 JV FCS (UND). In other news, word on the street is that UND has to pay NDSU $250K to buy out a game, whereas NDSU just has to pay UND the contract price. Nice work by Gene Taylor. HOME/HOME and great buy-out clause!!

I disagree. The first stupid a$$ question asked was to Coach K, and it was "Is this the biggest non-conference game you have ever been involved with" (or something very close to that effect). You think we want dumba$$ reporters sticking a mic in his face after practice asking that and other questions not focused on Iowa State, our players or the upcoming season. That's not how NDSU football operates. We are focused and strive for routine . . . not for distractions.

From what I gather, UND hockey has been pretty second tier (in a 54 team league) of late save for that lucky run at the end of last year. Amirite?!

Can you read for comprehension?! As I posted earlier, have a quick presser to handle the media and get back to focusing on beating "ANOTHER" FCS/Big 12 team and ANOTHER national championship run. We did not want this to be a distraction and have multiple media asking the same questions to coaches as they are focusing on practices and preparing our team. Easier to just have a quick presser and be done with issue. Pretty simple really. No need for UND to have a presser because their focus is much less lofty--like win more than 4 games or something.

When? Since UND leaked the contract news to the press when NDSU was not yet ready to address it and when we are more focused on beating a Big 12 team and making a run at another NC.
