You should--I agree completely, but you also should expect a retort occasionally, if not more, and be able to handle it.
-
No, because I don't read your posts or this Forum enough to know that you were attempting sarcasm, so I am sorry about that. We do this on BV for sarcasm. In fact, I suggested it a few years ago so misinterpretation/understanding of posts could be minimized.
-
No weiner syndrome here like you apparently have with NDSU. Each of your posts that I quoted contain backhanded compliments. I was simply pointing them out. If you can't handle that, then I would suggest not doing it. And how is it that you are "still trying to figure out who the best conference is this year" when the MVFC has two teams (of 4 btw) in the Semi's and every computer model you look at has the MVFC waaaay ahead of any other FCS conference. And, if you don't like computer models, then look at the NCAA selection commitee choosing 5 MVFC teams, all of whom won at least one game and 2 of which were eliminated by another MVFC team.

Hey, D8ckhead, try losing only 1 or no regular season games (see NDSU the last 3 regular seasons) and see what kind of seed you get in the FCS playoffs.
-
@Bold: Actually, 3-->and ALL RESULTED IN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS!! I realize UND hasn't been to a Natty in anything for decades, so, to refresh your memory, the National Championship game IS PART OF THE PLAYOFFS!!
-
If I were a UND football fan, I would focus my attention on the Oline and try to evaluate their play and improvement. An offense, and the skill players on it, can really only play as well as the Oline plays, and a playbook will be constricted or expanded based on Oline play and ability. I assume Bubba and his crew are focusing on the Oline, and what your Oline can do (realistically) against your next opponent, controls your offensive gameplan. Over on BV, the main pre-season talk seems to always be focused on offensive skill players. My response is normally in the "I hope our Oline is solid this year" arena. I also tend to advocate for more Oline recruit commits over a bunch of speedy athletes. It's amazing how good a good Oline can make an average running back or QB look. Just my thoughts...

ISU would be 10 point favorites at home against SJSU according to Sarigin, but you never give weight to sarigin on anything, right? UNI was a damb good team last year, and but for two major injuries suffered in our game, they likely would have made a deep playoff run. Also worthy of consideration is that we had 3-4 of our 5 starting OL's out for the game and, as you can tell by what we did against ISU, we kinda rely on them to create gaping holes for our RB's. We tend the run the ball ya know?
-
Did you forget to do what you started out to do because you got lost attempting to look intelligent?! Whatever happend, you accomplished neither making me look foolish or idiotic or making yourself look intelligent--exceptional failure on the latter, much like you football team!!
-
That would be fun, but will never happen--and the chance of us winning are about the same as a snowball's chance in hell of not melting.

Thought it was No. 1, but it was 5. "The 2007 Appalachian State vs. Michigan football game was a regular season college football game between the Appalachian State Mountaineers and Michigan Wolverines. It was held at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor on September 1, 2007, and was the first game of the season for both teams. The Wolverines entered the game ranked No. 5 in both major Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) polls and media outlets considered them to be preseason favorites to win the Big Ten conference championship as well as possible contenders for the national championship, while the Mountaineers were ranked No. 1 in The Sports Network's Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) poll and were preseason favorites to win their third consecutive FCS national championship."
-
You are correct!
-
Very possible, if not probable, especially is Alabama didn't overlook us--and I don't think they would given our performances against FBS teams. Recall what App State did to then No. 1 Michigan tho?! AGS!!
-
South Dakota State, despite losing its QB, looked respectable against SEC member Missiouri I thought. Also, Georgia Southern, in 2012, played Alabama tough and rushed for over 300 yards against them (we later destroyed GSU in the playoff semi's--no, not comparing scores, just providing reference materials). So, to say NDSU would just get detroyed by the top 25 teams is just a bit of a stretch and we wouldn't know unless the game or games were actually played. Not saying we would win a bunch or any of those games, but I don't think we would embarass the State of North Dakota or the FCS if we played them.
-
I wasn't aware of his antics, as I am not here enough to understand/appreciate that! Agree on irrelevance for UND. Agree on some of our stupid, arrogant bandwagon fans. Hell, some at ISU were even yelling and screaming when we had the ball on offense!! Thanks for settling me down. And please beat RM this weekend.

I was in a good mood until I started reading some of this crap. Oh, and my anger issues are not "toward UND"; rather, to the extent I have any, they are toward arrogant UND fans. I mean, bashing our FBS wins and extrapolating how NDSU would do against Mich St. based upon a game they played against someone we haven't but is ranked in our subdivision--Pathetic, and classic arrogant UND fan that should like just stick to #butthockey issues and score comparisons!. Give me a break already!!
-
Nope, no keys broke, as I was just stating fact ... and a "hope" for next September in Fargo!! You won't have Bob Entzion on the sideline telling our HC to take the foot off the gas! Bobby Morris should be a good game for you guys. I like how one of your posters stated UND should be able to see improvement in playing them. Will it really be improvement, or will it just be your opponents patheticness (and yes, I know we have to play Weber and Incarnate Word, but at least they are better than UND).
-
It's hard to swallow, isn't it? Not within 35 huh?! You apparently don't know much abouit college football or football in general then. Yep, all of our FBS wins have come against sub-par FBS teams--how about your wins against FBS teams (and I am not referring to your severasl "moral"/toe-to-toe victories). That SJSU team you got thumped by the other night?!?!? They wouldn't have kept a game against Iowa State within 35. Yes, that's how pathetic your team is, so maybe you wanna quit bashing one that would hang a 100 on you if it really wanted to--and now, even more, I hope we do next year. Not because of your players, but because of your POS, arrogant fanbase!!

@Bold: That WILL not happen, nor will Kleiman attempt to call Bohl. And I don't see any of our coordinators talking to WYO coordinators, but we will watch and breakdown the film from the WYO/GRIZ game.
-
We played twice in 94, with the 2nd (playoff game) in Forks--so not a "scheduled" game there. Sic. The regular season (scheduled game in 94 was in Fargo.
-
The NCC master/10-year schedule was not on a true "calender/decade" system. I believe those back to back games were the result of the master/10-year schedule being put together for the next run. Caveat: My recollection is that it was a 10-year master schedule, but it could have been shorter.
-
And here is a VERY informative article on Bohl's offensive and defensive strategies/styles. Given Bubba's desire to run power football, you should find Bohl's offensive stategy interesting. No, not a poser for Bohl, as I am a bit upset with the way he left and what he did recruit-wise. The article was interesting to me as a college FB fan. SJSU might be a good match up for you guys to start the season and Bubba era--not like they have a long, sustained winning history. Plus, looks like they are searching for an identity too (no smack intended)-->klick it-->http://www.mercurynews.com/sports/ci_26393494/san-jose-state-football-seeks-consistency

Not to worried. You guys barely get a couple thousand to your own tinshed of an arena!! @Bold: Um, Taylor sent this contract to your "AD" before he left. Otherwise, Peace Out--my weekend is about to start!!

What?! Oh, so a leak only goes to one media member . . . I see.
