I counted at least 5 giveaways by him on the blue line and one of them led to a shorthanded 2 on 1. I wasn't looking for this, but when he turned it over 3 times in a row it's hard not to notice. I also thought he tried busting through the blue line too much instead of dumping. This caused a forward to have to scramble and cover the point.

After teaching in the Twin Cities this doesn't seem too surprising. They really recruit and get out to the schools. Too bad that UND doesn't and when we do it seems to be pretty late in the year.

Actually they steal a few of the Gopher games from FSN. Even better, the Big Ten Network is HD (though not sure if it is on Midco). I don't remember them showing any CCHA games last year.

I'm not sure you can really say this is true. It's obviously heavily marketed towards the host team. Also the host teams' fans know that they will be in that regional if they make the NCAA's. Makes it a much easier decision to buy those regional tickets. When Denver hosted the regional before the Frozen Four you had to buy like two regional tickets to be able to get an option to buy a frozen four ticket.

That would be my guess now that CBS has fully taken over. Last year the coverage really dropped off from previous years. I don't think they had a pre-game show and between periods was more about other sports than hockey. I expect it to become more and more like those fox COLLEGE stations (3 channels) that cable carries where they show more high school football than college.

Since I'm moving back to EGF I canceled mine. But the way it seemed to me, was that it renews automatically.
