Please provide a list to JJ of who will schedule us. You obviously know more than he does. Matt Larsen has never said he wouldnt do a home and home. He said Home and Homes impacts out flexibility which is true. Some how you have extrapolated that statement to mean we wont. Im not worked up over anything. Actually Im amused that some folks have so much heartburn over our scheduling?????. I think we all know what the issue with some of you is. Its really not about our scheduling at all.

OMG every time you dont get the answer you are looking for you give the same old talking out of both sides of your mouth etc etc. Cant you have a discussion with out being accusatory? So you expect a news release every time a school turns NDSU down ? Why do you assume if a home and home was offered that teams would jump at that offer? From what I hear you would be wrong. Plus why would NDSU do a home and home if it not in our best interest and if we dont have to? Another repeat scenario is NDSU calling a school and not getting a call back. Some schools just say a flat no to playing us without hearing the deal. But you believe what you want.
-
Give JJ a call he can give you those details. I dont have the information to elaborate or speculate on specifics.
-
Of course I didnt expect your opinion to be any different.

Nicely played!!!!
-
We didnt run up the score. The game was basically over after MSVS first 3 possessions where they turned the ball over 3 times and we scored. In what the first 4-5 minutes. Geez.

Dont paint the whole fan base by the mouth of a few fanatics. I dont think all UND fans are like Darryl and SV. Of course our schedule has been soft. Who said it wasnt? EWU might be an exception but we wont know until the next few games to find out if EWU gave us any competition or not.

I think he it trying to make a point on OOC games what ever that may be?????? because we do go on the road for valley play.
-
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ This! Plus--We do have a scheduling philosophy of having 6 home games Plus 1 FBS if possible. The FBS game has been difficult as of late but have Colorado, Oregon and Arizona coming up. You were on point about trying to get teams to schedule us. Extremely difficult.
-
What is the importance of the OOC FCS schedule? Why dont you include ALL of our road games including FBS? Arent FBS games supposed to be more difficult? But I guess that doesnt fit the narrative you are trying to establish.

Afghanistan will argue with you on this point.

I would think he has to do something. He might lose more players. But hes got t make the hard decision. This is where leadership is huge. Either you right the ship or you dont. Wins arent important now. This scenario mirrors Iowa awhile back. Iowa had great players and were expected to do very well. But they came out and lost games they shouldnt have. Nobody could figure out why. Latter on a couple of players got busted. The thing is everyone knows who is doing it right and who isnt. The ones who arent doing it right bring down the whole team. Youve got to cut the cancer out like coach Ferentz said.

Do you think he will or should order drug tests on all the players?

http://www.inforum.com/sports/3830703-und-athletics-offer-full-cost-attendance-all-sports "Faison said it was urgent to protect the hockey programs, which routinely recruit against Minnesota, Wisconsin and other large athletic departments, which are all implementing the full cost of attendance scholarships across the board. UND’s other athletic teams didn’t face the same thing until NDSU’s announcement last week. In the wake of that announcement, Faison heard from several UND coaches, who urged the importance of doing the same. UND had already looked into the possibility of implementing the scholarships for all sports and acted quickly. UND is the first Big Sky Conference member to announce it will fund full cost-of-attendance scholarships and the third Division I FCS football program to announce it (NDSU, Liberty). South Dakota State and South Dakota have expressed interest in funding the scholarships, too. “From my standpoint, it was important to put our coaches in better position to recruit against our regional peers,” Faison said. “We have the ability to do it. It’s just how you’re going to get it done.”

I didn't know ndsu asked him to do so.
-
I guess I didnt make it clear. I didnt say they WERENT making FCOA payments. My question is whats the point of FCOA if you are giving partial scholarships and arent fully funding all sports? Does that help?
-
If you arent fully funding all of your sports are you really giving FCOA? By definition its defined as a FCOA payment. In reality?
-
Considering you arent fully funding all your sports I think you just answered your own question.
-
Come on now. UND has made many questionable decisions and announcements. But Iam sure the decision was made that if NDSU went all in they would also. If not they could get by by not doing so. My question now is WHY would you not announce you are offering FCOA to everyone instead of piece meal. That makes no sense unless you are going to hold back back if you dont have to..
-
I gave it as a possible reason for Kolpacks comment. If you would like to extrapolate it further like you have then have at it.
-
Unless UND went all in because NDSU did. If NDSU hadnt offered across the board would have UND? I dont think so. By the looks--wording of the presser there was no indication they would unless something changed.
