Why would I need to be corrected when it was I who posted the correct information after my initial post? Why would ADs send their bids in before the deadline? Because thats what they do. How do I know? I learned this in a conversation with Gene Taylor when I asked him when the bidding process etc. His response was---those were sent in a long time ago. The only ones not sending in early are the teams who didnt think they were going to make the playoffs but now have a chance and want to host. Whats funny is nobody had a clue when they were due until I posted it.

I posted that after my initial post just to make sure I posted the correct information.. Fact is the deadline was Nov 12th in 2012. So its pretty safe to assume that many schools who have done this before have already sent their bids in before the deadline. You obviously didnt read the post.

Correct. The Twins pitched the game to NDSU. This game is targeting twin cities and area fans who dont get to Fargo and dont have tickets. Plus the potential payout could be quite substantial.

They have been set up at our tailgate area and have been giving away their Chicken in a bisquit since the first game. Pretty tasty.

You could of had a home and home but Faison INSISTED the game be played every year. You cant change documented history.

You can manufacture all the rhetoric you want but the facts remain the same on how it all came down. As far as USD (even though they have nothing to do with the point at hand) USD didnt dump on us at the 11th hour after sitting on the contract. By that time most teams already had their schedules set. It put us in a bad place. As far as playing you Faison turned down numerous contracts by demanding that the game be played every year. By the time it was all said and done you were coming to Fargo twice with no return game and for less money. Now your first game is in Fargo when you finally join our conference. You guys did good. LOL As far as the nickle it would be nice to keep that history going. But thats not going to happen so its pretty irrelevant.
