well said...still curious about that one?
-
i know you need to have two qb's ready but we are days away from the home opener and i think muss just needs to say joe its your team and have him take 90% of the reps in practice from today on out barring any injury let him run with it hopefully for the next three years (joe leaves for the nfl (first round) after his junior year after beating the ndac in the national title game).

would you happen to know why ryan kasowski would be in the stands watching?? he seemed to have a clipboard and it also seemed like it was a surprise for some of the older players to see him?
-
didn't mean it as a criticism just an observation...i actually prefer coaches who have an calm demeanor that exude confidence without having to yell all the time

it was the first practice i have ever attended...i stayed about an hour and a half... --freund and boyd were the two most outgoing coaches...very upbeat and vocal especially freund. --on the flip side i wouldn't have suspected that coach luke was the new o coordinator...didn't even notice him once out there --on one defensive play the other coach who wears a weird hat (maybe lb coach not kotelnicki) stopped a play when a db or lb didn't line up properly when the words "orange something" was yelled out and he didn't let the young guy off the hook and didn't run another play until the correct answer was given --will ratelle looks be a guy i wouldn't want to mess with...looks like a zach thomas kind of guy...short, stocky, thick, and can move decent --even just messing around golladay made one handed catches look easy --mollberg is clearly the best qb out there...right before i left he had a throw across field right at me about thirty yards down field and he had plenty of zip on it perfect spiral...wr turned and it was right on the money...bartels struggled a bit from what i saw but it was quite windy that day...seems like jake hanson is freunds underdog...he had a couple of check downs that clearly showed he progressed from each option downfield down to the running back or te in the middle of the field for a "first down" and freund went nuts with praise.

i know und hockey is and has been very popular for a long time but since schlossman took over coverage of und hockey its been second to none (no offense to virg but schloss took it and ran with it)...on the flip side und football needs someone from the herald to show the same passion about covering football? wayne nelson is blowing up twitter with updates about steven kinser, dobmeier, and every other dirt track "superstars" hot lap times in kentucky somewhere?? we are less than two weeks away from the biggest season in recent history and a beat writer like schlossman covering football might create a little extra buzz about what is gonna be an entertaining fall for und football... i attended practice last week and he was there and i think he had only one tweet about blair's one handed catch near the sideline...wow.
-
thanks...i just need to see some live football!!
-
i'm thinking of watching one of the practices tomorrow...anyone know which gate/entrance you use and do you just sit on the west stands of memorial and watch from there? thanks
-
just saw a pic of the und media day...looks like it is being held at the alerus again??? functions like these need to be back on campus imo? the gorecki alumni center would be a perfect place for functions such as this? ran into kenny golloday last week...i'm 6'3" and i was short next to him in his flipflops...
-
anyone in the athletic department wanna put some teasers out there about the mens schedule or just make us wait?
-
just watched the coach brewster video with wigness talking about the upcoming season...sounds like minnesota will be coming back to Grand Forks for a return game? also heard this was a three game contract so i'm assuming that it is two in minny and one in grand forks then??
-
any word on dustin adams knee injury??
-
hire ben brien to come up with a norsehead logo and i guarantee you it would be pretty sweet...(and not all vikings wore horns on their heads)
-
would have loved to see howard swanson defend the first lawsuit from some 15 year old section 3 football player who got the first concussion on the alerus centers new indoor/outdoor carpet they picked up at teh carpet garage???
-
i guess the reason why some people find the alerus center logos stupid is they are actually too big for tv!! they would get more visibility if they moved them to the hashes, made them smaller, and maybe even block scripted them for ease of viewing on tv....
-
i guess we can only hope that this one is defective too (new turf for soccer across from the ipf?) and that someone at the alerus makes a couple changes again on the new one....but the black endzones look really nice tho...
-
for over 60 years we had a nickname for a group of people representing probably less than 5%... the biggest thing that the the new nickname has to do is generate dollars thru selling merchandise and in my opinon the Fighting Norse would make the most money for UND imo...

"heeeeere's your university of north dakota fighting nooooooooooooooorrrsssssssse scooooooooooooooring!!!"
-
but what i'm saying is that southern mississippi isn't really a big time name???
-
off all teams to do a 2-1 southern miss seems like an odd choice???
-
any word about our upcoming bball schedule?
-
kind of looks like their new field kind of went by the new rules the ncaa handed down...school logo, conference logo, either name of building or field on the hashes, and name of school in the endzones....
-
i guess i was wondering more about the new rules that someone posted on here about how many logos can now be on the field??? if altru is gonna get there logos on the field??? if the alerus center logo has/will be moved??
-
saw that u of wyoming got some new turf...cowboy logo at midfield, wyoming in one endzone and cowboys in the other, the MW logo to the right of midfield, and the name of the field in block script on the lower left of the field near the 20's.... anyone know if the clowns at the aurora decided to maybe just maybe try a different design the second time around???
-
i'm sure i could look but what is the timeframe for a trip to seattle by train??? and back??
