as much talk of nodaks trending and fighting hawks being a hot one too...it seems that most polls in the last few months seem to have RR winning everytime and sometimes easily.

talked to one alum who is gonna vote and he is going RR....talked to another alum that is voting and he is in the nodak corner....I don't hear anything about fighting hawks, sundogs, or NS...

I wonder why no other school has the nickname the "nodaks" and I also wonder how schools like north Carolina and south Carolina and south Dakota didnt' come up with nocars, socars, and sodaks?

I guess I don't get basing your nickname on "if my nickname can kill your nickname" considering the only conference we are in with the gophers is womens hockey...roughriders (cowboys) could and do kill wildcats (wsu), bobcats (msu), grizzlies(um), eagles (ewu), bears (unc) and they are in our primary conference.

I get it that the nodak people like the nostalgia about the name and maybe how it kind of like no nickname but what is it about fighting hawks that people like...you wanna be the 59 d1 school with a hawk as a logo...or is it putting fighting in front of anything gets your blood going? so then how about fighting roughriders then?

a bomb to a short rb on a fly pattern in doulbe coverage is a very low percentage play...one thing under muss i hated was the te position was non existent...there was plenty of time left to get that first down by sending a te ten yards down field, post up, and come back to the ball for a eight yard reception and then go from there...

the drop off from zach and cole to the guys that played today is night and day...bubba will get this fixed but it will take time.... but really a bomb to the end zone on fourth down??? really?
