i've never seen more lifted chevy pickups with modified pipes than the one time i strolled across the ndac's non-descript campus before a bball game years ago...

wouldn't they just say that stefan is academically suspended instead of the vague "breaking university somthing"...this is the third school for the young guy...? de rouen is gonna be a defensive nightmare for the big sky this year..very very quick...can't wait to see tyler and him play together...

i think they can split it up any way they want...out of town scores are not really needed now with smartphones...in two seconds i can find out the limpscomb versus niagra game if i want much less other big sky games...ill admit the screens are very very nice and impressive but they just aren't being used the well but with the alerus that can be expected.

i have always thought a visible sign stating how much they want to raise with a "thermometer" type thing that would be colored in when a certain amount was reached was need for the ipf site...i still think that a sign like this near the construction site would be nice to show how much has been raised and how much more they need would need to finish (and finish it correctly not half assed) be nice?

i was just pointing out how stupid the video boards are at the alerus... a static alerus logo, a static und logo, and out of date out of town scores...maybe just go full screen and wow the taxpayers with 100 percent of the board?

even with a slimmed down offense play chart i saw enough of studsrud to say he's the guy going forward...he just looks like a qb...i've seen people here all him danny freund 2.0...i would add in a little k klosterman too...fun game and the small crowd was treated to a great game... gotta love those out of town scores on the new million dollar scoreboard....i think southern utah's game against montana stayed in the first quarter for about three hours!!!

anyone know more about the man/woman that actually has a background in branding and whatnot...hope that person has a larger say in what happens on this committee...whatever name and logo is chosen needs to make und $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$...not make kids smile and feel happy

i don't disagree with you on most of this other than you comparing hyslop to a crappy big box fast food joint like mcdonalds....

why would boosters have to pay for a state facility to be up to state codes in terms of saftey to the fans?? seems odd to me... also seems like fuzzy math when you compare asbestos and lead abatement on a historical and structurally safte building instead of acquiring land, architects to design a new building, and then the cost of buildinga comparable building? seems like one would be a better option cost wise but when the gf/und gogc get going you seem to see the same architect, contractors, and whatnot salivating about new better projects around town...

what i don't get about the asbestos/lead paint theory is that you would have to believe that similar buildings built in the same time frame like cameron, williams, or allen fieldhouse never had lead paint and or asbestos in it ever???

what kind of bugs me about some of the ad's that have come and gone over the years is where is the long term planning on facility improvements? alerus-city paid rea-ralph paid betty-ralph paid kraft field-city/park board paid? choice-city/park board paid apollo-city/park board paid i don't think that und has paid anthing towards any of these building? so why don't we have some money somewhere set aside for future facilities? you would think in say 1965 that someone knew that somewhere down the line that memorial stadium was starting to show age so maybe set aside some revenue from home games for the next fourty years to fund a new football stadium? i still wonder how much cash rea is hiding in the "las vegas" room in the basement of the ralph...to the detriment of other programs imo (not hockey of course).

call me stupid but i don't think getting hyslop to look like this would be that hard or expensive...no video rings, no replay screens.....i;ve heard about abestos and a new roof but in the long run it wouldn't be that expensive especially if someone wanted their name on the court??? phil? ?

i totally agree with your list of priorities...phase two of indoor and then getting chipman and fennell to cut some checks and rea trust to step up with some cash for an on campus fb stadium...i just hope that some or all of these old buildings on campus that are not being used currently are not torn down bc you never get them back...i know it would be alot of money to totally reno hyslop but you can do it in phases. that whole front of the building could be offices for bball coaches, weight rooms, meeting rooms, locker rooms....

in the future i hope the bball teams move back to a renovated hyslop and give the betty to the vball program (and keep growing vball...sky's the limit) with the new indoor practice facility being built a lot of the uses for the hyslop will be down to next to nothing so the whole thing could be bball from top to bottom... i'm not sure if in the long run swimming and diving would ever move the wellness center if/when they put a pool in there but it they do if would be nice to tear down that crappy add on behind the original building and brought it back to what it looked like in the 50's....but a total gut job on the inside and bring back the hyslop hysteria!!! and make the inside look a lot like this but more green instead of blue

biggest reason why the Betty was done half-assed was bc ralph was dead....if ralph was alive he would have done it right the first time.

don't know if sharwma on s wash is gonna make it asking some of those prices??
