  1. i've had two pete's za pizzas this week ...very very good pizza for price.
  2. comparing fbs visibility to fcs visibility is comical at best....
  3. ask fans of bison women's bball and vball if they care about their fball natty?
  4. and then the 90's happened and they took their balls and ran away...
  5. exactly...it's a catch 22...fbs/fcs is toally messed up...just ask any fans of central florida.
  6. bc no one cares about fcs football other than fcs schools fans...and that pool of fans is shrinking every day
  7. liberty just showed you don't need an invite to move up...find 8 like minded schools to jump up...shouldn't be too hard...i can think of a couple.
  8. between roughly 1978-2010 about 20 teams moved up to fbs...since 2010 i would think about 5 or 6 more have moved up with maybe 5 or 6 dropping fcs football...it. is. a. dying. brand. edit...9 schools have moved up to fbs or added fbs since 2012 edit...11 schools have dropped fb snce 2001
  9. not sure if too many people know this but pryor only has weeks left on his current contract and the choice who the next AD will be will be a huuuuuge decider if he resigns and for how long....
  10. what were his second half stats when the bizons scored 0?
  11. i know one guy on campus that thinks the ewu guy is the clear cut favorite and will be the next ad.
  12. couldn't agree more...
  13. fixed it for ya
  14. in avants defense he looked to be playing with an ankle injury.
  15. ever taken a final from an ivy league school? neither have i and i don't want to!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. fcs playoffs are held when they have their final exams...so they say no
  17. maybe for a schools like harvard or alcorn state... losing in the first round of the ncaa bball tourney > winning an fcs championship
  18. that was the look on my face when i found out last year that a THIRD FCS conference decided that playing in the FCS PLAYOFFS wasn't "worth it"
  19. the hockey and basketball tourney's a re not flawed because teams are trying to get into the tourney...FCS playoffs not so much anymore.
  20. but if the best team all year is harvard 10-0 and the ivy league doesn't send a team doesn't that water down the fcs playoffs...if the second best team was alcorn state and the swac chose not to send them to the playoffs doesn't that water down the fcs playoffs....imagine if duke was 34-0 in bball and the acc doesn't send a team to the tourney and a team like butler wins it all with a record of 21-13...wouldn't that be a little odd?
  21. if 7 of the teams are from the mvfc so be it...
  22. a few conferences abstain from even partaking in the playoffs and a few other non-deserving conferences get auto bids...take 16 teams...no auto bids, no byes,...and roll with it.
  23. take away half our injuries and we would be right there. the process of crowning a champ is flawed and in the last decade...watered down quite a bit.
  24. most people that know anything about FCS football realize in the last ten years half of the good 20 teams have left for FBS leaving about 10 good teams...of those 10 a few don't make because of auto bids that go to the likes of san diego and drake and savannah state that have no business being in the playoffs (yes san diego has won its last wo playoff games i know)...wich means that the path to their "national championship" aint what it used to be which still isn't saying much anyways to the average college football fan that only follows FBS...("FCS champ? wasn't it mount union or st johns?)
