  1. This is a make or break moment in the history of SIoux hockey...the same way the Ralph set us up for 20 years of competitive play. Right now, we need massive NIL$ and we need to go snag the best possible guys out there. Chippas laugh at 23 year olds playing college hockey...chippas won't ever sniff the NAHL...chippas need to run and we need some NOW or else we are never getting back

  13. money and.... nobody leaves just for money...and not certainly for $100k....
  14. Sacha left because his agent and the NHL club that owns his rights told him to. That is more concerning
  15. kind of you...I do care about the program and have thrown some influence here and there behind the scenes, but I am in no way a real big deal. I thought about getting involved more seriously in hockey, but I got roped into helping a start-up that I was advising and investing in. The people that want to tap me can tap me and they know...I will be honest and genuine and do my best
  16. my point is this is all related to the new head coach and his staff
  17. I used to tell my mentees that its like riding a bull...first try hang on for 8 seconds, then try give them something to cheer for
  18. The average tenure for a fortune 500 exec is 4 years and change. You really don't last long, and very little is controllable or about you....kinda like a big time coach....although they seem to get the benefit of the doubt longer or the long knives don't come out as quickly
  19. hard to fail with that bar
  20. chyzy could tell you more about the 06-10 chippaz than even me : ) In all seriousness he can, he's a quality guy plugged in all over.
  21. i made it 3 years, 3 years and 2 years
  22. My mentor told me when I got my first big executive job that the one certainty when you get these jobs is that you will be let go at some point.
  23. it was a reply related to someone saying that Dane's first test of leadership will be failing
  24. Nobody I've ever known got great due to their successes. They got great due to their failures.
  25. et to Brute? Brad won a natty, was always considered a great person...yes, if it was a coup, he did deserve better. He deserved an honest disagreement and conversation.
