There's a potential generational talent goalie at St Thomas Academy right now: Owen Ryan. He's a 2011. I know goalies have a different development path, but this kid is the real deal.

He was playing in Madison before the high school season too.

I went back through the last couple years on myhockeyrankings...looks like Lake Conference and Moorhead were the teams that gave them games in Bantam AA the last 2 years with wins and losses both ways and different 1 year vs the other

I love GF too, but that was one game. The lake conference for example is a different animal than anywhere else. They sent 2 teams to State and had 5 teams in the top 13 in the rankings.

15O is a specific USA designation that has its own national tournament, I would not say the kids playing 15O AAA out of Shattuck or BK or Caesars or Honeybaked are playing AA...

all the insta and internet hype is just that...hype...scouts don't watch hype or highlights, they watch games. who is better to a scout, the guy with a couple highlight reel goals and big celly's or the guy who got one and took great routes with perfect details and won...

So, Joey Cullen is universally a top 5 player in the birthyear, will he stay and do before and after with the force or will he go to the program? I mean Moorhead is stacked for years...I think Matt Cullen should get the key to the city for what he did to build that crew and the community hockey wise. They are lined up for a decade thanks to Matt. Its almost unfair...they will own Section 8 probably forever now...at least they played an elite schedule with the metro blue bloods.

Roeder is elite...he is quietly one of the absolute best players in minny high school. He plays a good physical game, clean but hard, and he reads the ice, handles contact and dishes it. I put him among the absolute best projections in Minny

Other topic, I get going to USHL or CHL out of high school...to AAA? Only if you are 16 playing prep AAA or better at an elite program. One example of a late blooming player isn't the norm. If you are leaving and then going to the NAHL...good luck to you.
