Midco doesnt have it live, nor does nchc.tv

if the puck leaves and enters the offensive zone and isn't possessed by the attacking team, and attacking players are still behind the play in the offensive zone, it is a delayed offsides; requiring all attacking players to clear the offensive zone before they can legally possess the puck in the offensive zone.

every player has to be out of the zone, so Jammy has to tag up before Caufield crosses the blue line

Owen Mac's pass to Gaber was a thing of beauty. He really impressed me at USA hockey arena this summer. Blake did not overly impress at USA hockey arena, but his body of work speaks for itself, and that was a great individual effort on that goal...like amazing. Those 2 are both likely 3-4 year players, so I am excited to see what they develop into, because it could be amazing.

LOL...I also base my happiness on living vicariously through my children, and if they lose and UND loses...there's always alcohol -

I saw Owen McLaughlin at USA Arena during a World Juniors practice evaluation. He was the second best player on the ice that day behind Isaac Howard. He will be an excellent player for us. -
With Celebrini choosing BU, I have to think it’s only a matter of time before his teammate Eiserman commits there…our best hope is that BU ran out of full rides

Cole Eiserman is a NewEngland kid…he’s also the absolute real deal. Fingers crossed. aidan Park would be a really nice get too.

Well, another season by the wayside. I would kill for us to bring some serious skill in upfront…I’d like to be excited to watch them on weekends…I barely did this year… which says something. -
so bummed. I am going to be on a plane on Thursday, and if this game was on ESPN2, I'd be able to watch from the air.

Sidenote, how am I ranked a "newbie" after 18 years and almost 6000 posts

I got smacked the other day, but I once again didn't watch. I didn't miss a game for about 13 years...this year, I've watched maybe 5....that's where the rubber hits the road. Its not about being a cheerleader, its about calling what you see, and this team isn't a fun product on the ice. Sure Sanderson is dynamic, and Gaber has some talent...but... As I told my friends the other day. I guess this is Fighting Hawks hockey, because it sure isn't Sioux hockey. Flame away haters, but so be it.

I’m not going to rip on the team or players. I’ll just say this. I don’t bother watching this team, because I don’t enjoy it.

Hockey is an emotional game. Sometimes things are intentional and sometimes they are reflex. Running someone from behind is most often a result of playing hard and either not being 100% in control as you go to finish your check or the other player turning trying to evade at the last minute. Very, very rarely do you see someone run a guy from behind on purpose. Spearing on the other hand shows some intent and is a dirty penalty. Almost every minor penalty is the result of either playing hard and going a little over the line or else getting beat, caught out of position, or laziness (think stick infractions like a hook or a trip). you expect a couple penalties on your team every game from hard play- a stick slash, maybe some roughing, maybe a little interference. You want tough physical play that pushes the boundaries- so you expect a couple times to go a little over. You don’t like cheap/dirty penalties or lazy penalties.

I'm not close to it to know which is the bad decision. I was trusting that those doing the math didn't see the original plan as viable and therefore scaled back. More time gives you more info. Could be a good decision or a bad decision. You make the best decision you can with the information you have at the time. Time will tell.

The program is making room for young guns and they would rather get another year of school than hang 'em up or go kick around the Coast
-
wasnt JBD the defensive defenseman of the year? voted on by the league coaches...that speaks volumes to the little stuff he does out there...
-
Pinto and JBD are as good as gone. They will be in the Senators lineup and getting NHL money and starting their entry-level deals with fat signing bonuses and making $20k/week while up in the NHL. Sanderson should be back for one more year. IF he plays all of next year like he played on Saturday he will be playing next to Chabot this time next year.

From 2000 Mike’s away, I thought the ice looked bad.
