The line juggling has really hindered any chemistry...you can see it with how off all the passes are and how plays are being made with nobody around to finish

Surprisingly, Tech's forwards have made our d look slower than Minnesota's or DU's forwards have. We can't make a pass- no flow, no sync...

Tech looks like the better team tonight...it is tough to end a team's season, but let's go boys. We haven't gotten any offense going.

Just watched the hit from last night again...just burns me up...shoulder to shoulder...Mac doesn't even skate into him. That is as clean a hockey check as you see in open ice...Johnstone even had his head up and went into the hit. Junk.

Kristo waving bye bye was classic- Boys better get their mean-on up for tonight. I think the season has worn on Drake, either that or he's been nursing an injury. I think Panzo plays tonight. If we have to send a message, he's the best guy to do it...we can live a game without him, and he is big and fought a few times in junior. Pattyn is tough, but I hate to lose him to open the final five

Intentional physical intimidation of an official is a suspension in any league...even the federal league

If the officials are not going to allow physical hockey plays, they are ruining the game. That hit was not a penalty. I would've been irritated with 2 minutes, I am infuriated about 5 and the gate. To make a 5 minute major call the official should have to actually see the penalty. Since replay shows clearly it was shoulder to shoulder, I don't know what they saw or think they saw. Also, a hit that powerful- if it had been to the head, Johnstone would've been lights out- he was not. A great (by NHL standards) hockey play results in UND essentially playing 4 d with any regular ice time, takes away our captain, takes away our physical presence in our own end, and takes away a key 5x5 and penalty killing player. It changed the tone of the game...that was an absolutely terrible call. I do hope that Johnstone is feeling okay and will recover quickly. Bad things sometimes happen in a game like hockey, it doesn't mean they are penalties.

Looking at PWR...a little run by Sconny and we could have 6 WCHA teams at the dance. I think we are pulling for UNO to win to stay a TUC and for DU to knock CC out of being a TUC. Tonight's win didn't give me a lot of confidence for any kind of fantastic run at #8, but as someone else said, never question a win. I thought Simpson and Kristo had stellar games. Team faced a lot of adversity losing Mac, dealing with MTU's style...I think the team is better with Caggiula out there- maybe this is a nice wake up call? Rocco- seriously snake bit- I'd like to see him shake it for the NCAAs.

They were winning a lot of foot races and puck battles...we won based on talent tonight...we would not win with that effort against a Minn or SCSU or BC

Tech is a fairly talented, young team. They were DIRTY though. We need to bring a better effort tomorrow...our compete level needs to get better every game from here on out. With Mac and Mattson in street clothes, we were essentially skating 4 regulars on D. Simpson played great. Kristo is in a different talent stratosphere.

Call on Mac is the worst call I've ever seen. In playoffs no less. This isn't women's hockey, there is a physical aspect of this game
