What I want to see tonight..... - From here on out you play until you lose rotation for the goalies....starting with Thome in net tonight. -Mismash on the top line with Gardner and Pogo...... and they play a ton of minutes -The defensemen start jumping up in the rush more. I'm not looking for the D to carry the puck end to end ....but to be an option on zone entry. I don't remember that happening much last night. -Gardner has to stay out of the box. -I know some don't like the minutes that Simonson's line gets....but for the most part they're the only line that can sustain a forecheck. Keep that line together. -As for the other two units.....draw the names out of a hat.....

As a Niners fan I have no problem with this deal. Even after only 7 starts, 5-0 with a terrible Niners team to end the season. I will take Garoppolo for this money over Cousins any day.

For Duluth to get to 39 points they would have to take 15 out of the remaining 18 points they have at stake. For North Dakota to get to 40 points they need to take 16 out of the remaining 24 points they have left to play for. Both are pretty realistic I think. Although it wouldn't shock me if UMD ran the table.....I just think they will lose one at Western Michigan.

At this point I wouldn't mind seeing a Thome/Cam rotation until the team gets on a roll with one or the other. But on the third goal its again more than just on Cam. Watch what happens just before that goal. First Pogo fails to bury a point blank shot at the top of the crease at one end.....then watch his lack of effort defending Terry at the other end, right before 19 scores the third goal.

It was a rocket of a shot....but I guarantee you Cam would say he should of had it. But if you go back and watch the replay, the defensive zone coverage was horrible. Watch the forwards on the play. That will be the focus when the team watches film today.

If its deemed deliberate....like I said no college official is going to think a defensive player is deliberately shooting a puck over the glass 150 ft away. In the NHL that would be an automatic delay of game penalty, no matter of the intent.

That's a NHL rule...not college.

Wrong.....in the NHL its automatic delay of game if its shot out of play from the defensive zone....except where there isn't glass. In college it has to be deemed deliberate. I don't think any official would think that Olson deliberately shot the puck out of play 150 ft from his own zone. The penalty in this case is a defensive zone faceoff and his team wasn't allowed to change lines.
